I was a bit wayward. Wife had suspicions. We were sort of separated. I was kind of splitting time. In the hospital, my eventual ex-wife shows up 1st, my eventual 2nd wife who’ll also eventually be an ex, comes in a bit after. Neither has seen each other. It’s a moment that goes a million m.p.h. yet is frozen. I don’t know what my face looked, but they both knew. Before I could speak, my ex-wife, cool as a cucumber introduces herself to my “friend”, who doesn’t seem thrown off either, does the same. It’s awkward but there’s talking, small chit chat about what happened, my ex leaves, says goodbye, tells me to call her. Then it got interesting….

Had a work accident, was rushed to the hospital, pre cellphones. My boss had two numbers to call for O.T. He called one to tell my wife, no answer, he a left message, called the other number, no answer, left a message. I’m in the hospital, drugged a bit, going to need surgery for a body trauma, but I’m ok resting in a bed. My wife shows up, a couple minutes later an another woman does too….

For me it’s his eyes…..😍

Boones guy, Williams, is a lost cause, can’t be trusted with anything less than a 3-run lead. Bird is a disaster. Bednar was better tonight, but don't know what we really have in him and Doval yet. Weaver and starters all shaky. Two gut punch losses in four games because of the bullpen. They didn’t bounce back from the 1st one and are facing Eovaldi tomorrow I’d expect the same. Judge being hurried back? He’s in there tomorrow. But it’s pitching…..

At least we can all agree Elvis was “The King” and Muhammad Ali was “The Greatest”.

Routinely bought Benjamin Moore paint at a Ma & Pa like Ace Hardware, always pleasant folks. Once ran short and needed another gallon, it didn't match, went back to see if they could re-tint it. They weren't receptive but not hostile, then I made the ultimate mistake, I said they do it at Home Depot. Their reaction was like the Abbott and Costello "Niagara Falls"slowly I turn bit.

It really is that simple, but more humorous when the begrudgers add irrelevant caveats.

Place my wife went recently said 3k-6k out of pocket depending and with Medicare advantage? Got to revisit or compare elsewhere I guess. I want that money for vacation.

This requires some preparation as it was my go to for years going to games. One plastic half pint or one pint vodka, depending on seasonal attire, stashed on me, straight to concessions, order one large soda, hopefully with lots of ice, go straight to men’s room, wait for stall to be available, go in, uncover cup, save lid and straw, empty soda in toilet, pour vodka in cup, cover with lid, insert straw. Throw bottles out as leaving men’s room or if worried leave on back of toilet. Game on.

I’m a bit embarrassed admitting it, but seeing Allen at the end there the word “Deity” popped in my head.

Yankees premiered all their newbie relievers tonight. They all got smoked in a way that you’d only see in a sandlot game…..maybe. It was surreal, and ominous.

Carruci was always fair, no frills, old school type. Chef’s is overrated.

There’s a Hampton Inn, Country Inn and a Staybridge on Slade Ave. West Seneca. They’re 15 minutes away from the stadium and a very easy drive to get there. Lots of Bills fans at them during the regular season. Plus they’re located right off a Thruway exit off the 90, no driving around.
