I was a big Coleman fan knowing players on FSU and what they said about him. Eating crow now - he looks like a WR4 currently. Hopefully he improves. I believe Gabe is def an upgrade at this point, esp with his connection with Allen previously. All this being said, it’s insane we have not traded for a WR. We should be willing to part with a #1 or 2 pick given Beane’s failure at drafting. Meyers, Olave, Shaheed have a much better chance of contributing than Beane’s pick in rd 1 or 2 next year. I’d also throw in that, normally being optimistic about this team, we absolutely do not look like a SB team. Every nay sayer picking this team apart is correct on their takes. To not even make it to the SB with Allen is travesty at this point.

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing goodBockeye replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall This board would explode if the Pats win the Super Bowl. They are much more balanced than the Bills and potentially have better coaching. With some luck, they could be there. That would definitely hurt.

Great write up, but what did we do in those years?? The feeling is that we are not a SB team, and we’re not. End of statement.

Game week thread - Bills at Panthers (Game week preview on pg. 18)Bockeye replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall AFCE runs through NE now.

I wouldn’t go that far. Allen is still somewhat young. We just need to surround him with talent on O and D and get better coaching. Will that happen - probably not. It’s a travesty we haven’t even made it to the SB with Allen. Another wasted QB talent with Buffalo with nothing to show. Im not a nay-sayer, but we’re not getting there with current regime. Everyone has rallied against the folks constantly being pessimists, but you know what - they are right.

10/13/2025 Bills at Falcons - 1st half game threadBockeye replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Agreed. But Beane and our scouting department need to go as well. Our drafts haven’t helped at all. Clean house while we still have time with Josh.

10/13/2025 Bills at Falcons - 1st half game threadBockeye replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall We have to throw in Beane & scouts crappy drafting as well. We have a bunch of meh players on defense.

Since 1970, only 4 teams have made the payoffs after being 1-5.

Ravens vs Chiefs Game thread (the Bills lamp is lit)Bockeye replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Sorry brother - not arguing with any of your points as they are all good. My bad in my response. Too many B-more fans lately telling me Lamar is much better. It’s a stat i throw out to them that they do not know and are befuddled by. If I could buy you a beer I would. Cheers Go Bills!

Ravens vs Chiefs Game thread (the Bills lamp is lit)Bockeye replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Everyone ignores the fact that Allen has 60 MORE TD’S than Lamar since they were drafted. 60!!!!!! That’s a freaking chasm. I don’t know where the count is since the season started, but probably not too far off still. Anyone comparing them - please give me your advanced stats on how Lamar is close to Allen…..HE’S NOT

Ravens vs Chiefs Game thread (the Bills lamp is lit)Bockeye replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Love it - HoF QB/2x MVP and Romo is saying - “put it in Henry’s hands”. Lamar is a phenomenal QB, but he ain’t Allen.

9/28/2025 Bills vs Saints 1st half game threadBockeye replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall I was in the camp that wanted Cook but didn’t want to overpay him. Not sure there would have been an overpay. He just keeps getting better. Hats off to all of you who just said pay the man - you were spot on!

Any thoughts on Dorian Williams about to be starting again?Bockeye replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall I 100% agree with this. I think with more playing time though, those mistakes will be fewer and fewer….like we’ve seen with some of our really good players on the roster.

Any thoughts on Dorian Williams about to be starting again?Bockeye replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Agreed. Dorian went to Tulane - a good football school, but not near the level of coaching as powerhouse college teams. Sometimes players like these need NFL coaching and need to acclimate. I think he’s going to be a stud as he continues to play. He’s athletic as hell.

9/14/25 Week 2 GAMEDAY Bills @Jets post game ThreadBockeye replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Going to be interesting to see how good our D looks once we get the injured and suspended players back. Tre looked great today!

Great post @Shaw66!! I went to buy a few brews and just after I purchased them, Henry scored. I swear, I had to wait about 5 minutes at my sections entry because people were streaming out. I finally got back to my seats and my section was about half gone. I’ve gone to a TON of home openers and this one without a doubt was easily the best - and probably the best in Bills history (esp being the last opener at Highmark). The comeback was glorious and I actually think those of us that remained were louder than any other time during the game, even with the stadium full. That feeling at the end with fellow Bills fans high-fiving and hugging is something I’ll never forget - simply electric. Go Bills!!

The Ugly The Bad The Good... The Bills Defense v Ravens ThoughtsBockeye replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall For those in the know - how much better do we get against the Ravens with Hoecht and Ogunjobi? Also - assuming White and Maxwell are back (with potentially better coverage and holding on to the ball)?
-
Stupid to act like there wasn’t. Go read some of the posts when we drafted him. Also, lmao, he wasn’t awful last year. He put up OK numbers and was injured - no awful. Just a bad take.
-
I get the concern and I thought the same, but then I look at the box score and see that Josh threw for almost 400 yards. No matter what we “think”, you can’t throw for 400 yards without some separation.

I apologize for my drunk posting last night if I offended anyone. GREAT win Bills family!!!!!
