  1. I know the rule says if you succeed with both challenges you get a third. I was just curious if any team actually got one yet.
  2. So, do we have any indication as to when he'll be ready to play?
  3. Likely pointless, unless the NFL or someone not the refs are the ones to review it. Remember when PI was challengable? They refused to overturn even the most obvious calls. I don't see this being any different.
  4. I think the whole "not willing to work out" thing kinda deflated all of this hype, for us, for the Bills, 'boys and Giants. That one act completely changed the tone and now it almost seems like everyone is rapidly losing interest. He did it to himself, really.
  5. We use him on screens. We cannot block for screens. Doesn't matter who runs it, the RB is devoured immediately as "blockers" run right past opposing players like they were slalom poles.
  6. Von is better in the playoffs then he is in the regular season. That's why we got him. This is like being kicked out of the theater after the trailers, not what you paid for. Next season I say we wrap him in bubble wrap and throw him in the freezer until the playoffs.
  7. The numbers make it real tough to divvy up. The divisions are too diluted atm. I think go back to three divisions (Come back Central!). That should solve having a crappy division champ. But as for the playoffs, it's tough needing factors of two, giving some teams a bye, but not more then one. Still wracking my head on a viable solution there.
  8. Like I said, and this thread outright proves it, he was still found guilty in the court of public opinion. Bringing him back would be no less a PR nightmare. Guilty until proven innocent.
  9. No. He was already found guilty in the court of public opinion. I mean, look at how many people here wanted to crucify him and anyone else that wanted to wait on the facts.
  10. I remember when you had three division champs and two wild cards. The division winners all got a bye where the two wild cards had to play an extra game (against each other). That seems fairer then what we got now.
  11. Wow. How did I forget that? I must be getting old. 😆
  12. Quite true, which is why I think our players could handle playing without heaters, while the 'fins players would freeze, allowing for some poetic justice.
  13. The irony is, it was also the Bengals that faked injuries to slow down Buffalo's K-Gun offense in the AFC Championship game. That lead to the injury in under two-minutes rule.
  14. My god, they're blaming the NFL instead of their own idiots that let him play the second half against us, nonetheless the Cincy game? So...the Bills "made such a big deal", but now you're doing the same thing, complaining about the cold weather in Buffalo? 🤔 The amusing part is that they have no idea why Bills' fans are giggling about the Dolphins' fans complaining about the cold, when the Dolphins literally fried the Bills earlier this season. The Bills should play without heaters just to freeze out the Dolphins and send a message to the NFL about that 🤬 rule. The Bills' players would handle those conditions far better then the Dolphins. Edit: Ugh, can't edit it onto the top. This message is in reply to...
  15. At this point he's not coming, and is just using us to jack up the price for Dallas. Dallas has already made it clear they will give him anything he wants, whereas Beane would only be willing to offer something reasonable. I wanted him here for awhile now, but this whole circus has soured me on the idea. He's playing the teams off one another for hype and attention and is going to go to the team that throws money at him like he was a stripper.
  16. If he keeps this up, most definately.
  17. I'm getting deja vu all over again.
  18. Too many burnt bridges. Besides, look at the rest of the AFC East right now. Do you really think Tom wants back in this division? And that look by Diggs was priceless. 😏
  19. I was on their case the last four games, wins or no. I thought they looked sloppy and unimaginative. I still stand by that. That being said, they looked like a different team yesterday. Imaginative and balanced playcalling and adjustments. Davis played well. His few misses were bad passes, rather then stone hands and he fielded the onside kick perfectly. I feel the prior two weeks we won in spite of ourselves. Yesterday was a solid win, a bit of return to form and restored my confidence in this team.
  20. I see where this is going. "How dare you say anything bad about Davis! He's an amazing reciever. His history of not winning contested passes and his 10% drop rate is trivial! Lay off the poor guy!" If this thread was made to be an echo chamber, it should have been labelled as such. Well, since I have a dissenting opinion, and those are not allowed here, I'll take my leave.
  21. If a reciever drops a on-target pass in the end zone in OT, would you say he cost them the game, even if the team didn't play well? Of course you would. So now that we've set a precident... As for the pass in the Jets game, he needs to make that catch. But that's another knock against him. He just doesn't make contested catches (ref: Vikings game). High-level #2 recievers do. Just look at how many similar plays have been made against us. He is highly inconsistant. As I've said ad nausium by now he has great plays, and he has some that gravely hurt this team. I think people calling for his head are overreacting. But at the same time I think people claiming he's perfectly fine and doesn't deserve critiquing have their heads in the sand.
  22. Oh, and to clairify, I don't mean on average. I mean completely happy with every play. Are you completely happy with his current level of play?
  23. He is not the sole cause, but his 4th down drop was a critical, game-killing drop. Let me ask bluntly. Are you completely happy with Davis' performance this year right now? Completely being the key word.
  24. So, causing 33% of the Bills' losses is no big deal? Goes right up there with a full 10% drop rate, I suppose. Again, I'm not calling for the guy's head. I'm just saying there is certainly justification for the flak he's receiving.
  25. Dropped critical 4th down pass from Josh in the Jets game, which resulted in 1 of the Bills' 3 losses this season? As I said, when he's good, he's amazing. When he's bad, it costs the team bad.
