Between this and OBJ he’s done more to help Josh Allen than the front office.- 181 replies

Pressure is on McBeane - PFT discussion
78thealltimegreat replied to balln's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes they were absolutely trucked by the Jacoby Brissette lead Browns right before their winning streak this belief the Bengals are some kind of juggernaut is ridiculous they are really good in close games. Heck they played a 1 score game with Malik Willis and Tennessee. The Bills just had a Murphys Law game at the absolute worst time. So what you’re saying is you want Allen to just take a checkdown every play like Burrow does gotcha. -
Great find. I have to give credit to Josh there a bunch of guys who would have milked this for everything it’s worth in this league. He never missed a snap, never missed a game, and never used it as an excuse. When it’s clear he very easily could have.

The only untouchable player on this roster wears number 17. Everyone can be cut or restructured. There is never cap jail even when the Bills lose players to free agency they simply get comp picks in the draft. The Baltimore Ravens and Cowboys have been doing it for years and are just as close to a Super Bowl as the Bills.

I look at the Cowboys model except our QB is all world theirs is maybe all Harris county or something. You build the offensive line and add weapons then keep adding picks for depth on defense using the compensatory pick model. The one thing you also need to consider is as hard as it is for the Bills all those other teams have to play each other too. -
They have a number 3 receiver in Davis playing the 2 and they have a number 3 receiver in McKenzie playing in the nfl when the league he should be in started last weekend. They need badly to get a number 2 so Davis can slide to the 3 and Shakur can move to the 4 and also so if Diggs gets into Diva mode they can move him next year when the cap hit will be less. They also badly need to look at the 2TE spot since the Bills really don’t have one on the roster.

He won the Conn Smythe the year after he was traded I think he did just fine already.

Ryan Oreilly is kinda chuckling at your post

He’s a Cali kid don’t be shocked if he winds up with the chargers especially if rumors are true of them possibly cutting ties with Keenan Allen

I disagree in an extent that Allen can make any receiver look good just as long as he gets time to work with them look what he did for Gabe Davis last year. Beane knew what he was trading for when he got Diggs out of Minnesota when Diggs started to take backseat to Adam Theilen and did not like it at all. This is all moot though do to cap issues but if it wasn’t I could see Buffalo dealing him to a receiver needy team like Cleveland and taking then Buffalo taking Quentin Johnston.

One thing I can see happening in the next CBA is teams similar to what the NBA has getting the Larry Bird exemption deal where they can place say 3 or 4 players as cornerstone franchise pieces and those players they can pay more then anyone else and it won’t have difference in the teams cap structure or something like it as salaries keep getting out of hand for QBs

Diggs interview with Dan Patrick on 2/10..
78thealltimegreat replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can see if Diggs has a problem with Beane (roster construction) or McDermott( in game decisions) or even Dorsey( offensive scheme). But if he has a problem with one the top 3 QBs in football who got him the ball 108 times and played half a year with an elbow injury to his throwing arm I don’t know what to tell you. If he truly only wants to play for Dallas they just don’t have the money to make it work cause next year Micah, his brother, Dak, and CD all want to get paid. With Micah probably going to be the highest paid defensive player in history. -
Did you watch the Sabres Leafs tonight? The Sabres don’t even have a door or a tunnel under the house.

We have two coaches Frazier and McDermott who have a combined 40 years coaching defense they can make do with mid round picks. So I want the early picks in the draft to concentrate on offense. If they can pickup a free agent guard that would be great but if they want to use free agency for the defensive issues fine but the draft must be offense especially receiver since we have no idea how Diggs is going to react after next season and his Diva personality he had in Minny is starting to show up here and we can trade him with less of a cap hit ala what KC did with the Cheetah.

OT…Daniel Jones about to be a very very rich man
78thealltimegreat replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Burrow, Chase, and Higgens if they keep him alone will probably be a minimum of 100 million against the Bengals cap for checks notes 3 players 🙄
