Ur telling me, if ur Colts GM your gonna be that quick to trigger a trade in EARLY MARCH??? And not wait for other offers from teams in a QB rich draft with QB needy teams.. I'm not saying they would have gotten more than the jets offered, but the possibility of it is real.

I never stated they would in fact up the ante.. I just feel like if Colts were to tell Beane what jets offer was, Beane wouldn't just tell Colts, they are not upping the offer. Beane is smarter than that. I feel Beane would have told Colts to hold tight and see if we can come up with a better trade (even tho Beane knew he wasn't gonna up the offer).. But it would have bought time to visit other trade scenarios with other teams. If this were the case, NO WAY a trade with jets happens early in march!!

100% agree. If this was true, the Colts would have told us, and Beane would have done research to check in on the situation. Colts would have gave us opportunity to "up the ante". Not buying this

I believe we can get to #2. But if had to choose, I would go with the Mayfield option. I also believe(to an extent), if we trade up to #2 Mayfield might be the pick there

Got that right. I actually like all the speculation, but would love to hear the bills are trading up sooner rather than later (unfortunately ur prob right and is gonna be weeks to hear anything) Not to mention, giants could afford shaq, Hughes would be pushing their budget

They only got a 3rd for him, and swapped 4th rd picks.. They only gained 1 pick with the trade. Now they have a whopping 6 picks. I don't believe this changes what they do with their 2nd overall pick

I agree with that. But Beane also stated, that accuracy is big on his assessment of qb's. And Mayfield is only QB prospect to have extensive interview with bills(I know this could mean nothing, just saying)

^^^this^^^ Even if bills trade up to #2, I wouldn't be shocked if they took Mayfield there

After the 2 OL signed today we have bout 5.5 million left. That # includes draft pool, and does not figure what wood is gonna accumulate for after his release/retirement. So unless we can get him for 2 mil, 3 tops on a prove it deal (doubt it), I agree with you. But If somehow it happens, it would be a good pickup.

Nice bud, bc u just had me confused. I never stated to pick qb at 12. I am with u and all for trading up! I just feel like 1 or 2 qb's will slide, and 1 of them McBeane likes and will trade up btwn 6-10 to get him

I only stated what Beane has said, I'm not just making up random ****. No matter what happens I'm gonna support and cheer for the bills!!

I agree, I don't see them moving to top 5 and mortgaging a lot of picks. But every year a player slides. There are 4 top qb's and I doubt all 4 go in top 5 picks. I feel we will trade up inbetween 6-10 to get 1 of the qb's that slide. We would still have some nice picks for top tier prospects

That's def something to think about. Good insight, on a different perspective. As it sits now, I feel 1 or 2 qb's will fall, we will move up but not for a crazy price, and fill in the roster with the remaining picks best as possible
