Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?

Hopkins not being a bill would be a big letdown at this point. -

If we move Ed maybe we get Ford for less. I would swap out Oliver if its needed to bring D Hop, Wagner and Ford. Get D Hop. Worry about Ed later. -

This. Davis has a better year and the bet on Harty and Sherfield works and we are one of the higher-ranked units. But cant base it on hopes and dreams. It is the reality of what these guys are doing right now. And outside of Diggs it is not much. -

Seriously. I think its some random guy named Aaron Rodgers? Who is that? He has done nothing to deserve more than a 1.0... -

We have Diggs and guys that anyone outside of Buffalo fans would call avg players. Davis is our #2 and is 4th round pick. Shakir is #3 and is a 5th round pick that has done nothing. Sherfield and Harty are 4&5 and are both take-a-flyer type players. -

If Lavante David only got $5M per then Wagner will be that or less. We can afford it. 2 year deal, can still draft Campbell. -

Get DHOP and sign Wagner. Gives us a ton more flexibility in draft. -
Don’t confuse low priority with lack of success. The billls have drafted TE and used FA resources on TE. They spent good money on Knox and he has underproduced.

If the draft we're today...

Add Hopkins for 3rd. Sign Wagner. Can go Mayer or Washington and/or OT in the 1st and 2nd. Depth in 4-7. -
Bills hosting/hosted David Edwards on visit

Remind me how many AFC championship games the Chiefs have been in lately. You can start to add the Bengals to that list. They must be pretty lucky. -
Because we clearly were not good enough last year. And so far none of the moves make us better. They have been moves that fill out the roster, but not take it up a notch. The McG at G move is the only upgrade thus far. I care less about RB but we need another threat to go along with Diggs and a RT.
-
Could be true and we have seen teams fall off a cliff after a solid game vs us.
-
I am most confident that McG is an upgrade over Saffold. I am not confident that Harris is an upgrade over Singletary. Singletary was the closest thing to an every-down back last season. The hope is Cook can be that. Then I would say a Cook/Harris combo is better than a Singletary/Cook combo. But if the fear is this turns more into a Singletary/Moss type situation which is not appealing. I am also not confident that the WR combo additions of Harty and Sherfield are an upgrade over Crowder and McK. Kumerow is irrelevant. Diggs, Davis, Crowder, McK, Shakir has become Diggs, Davis, Shakir, Sherfield, Harty. We still need a TE2.
-
Have you watched other teams? We played teams down multiple starting OL that did not miss a beat. Whenever we were down a gut the line crumbled. Is it a crime to want to try some new blood?
-
I dont think teams will adjust or be forced to do anything because Damien Harris is on the field is my point. Did the Bills adjust the D because of him? Did any team adjust because of him? This is really diminishing our other RB's. This is not a Ferrari vs Kia upgrade. Its more like a Toyota vs Honda. Same quality, different skillset.
-
This requires changing the play calling and the OL being able to block. Our block scheme is not a power run blocking scheme and the personnel represents that. I’m not sure if the RB changes that. The reaction is like Harris is a game changer. I agree he is a better short yardage runner than we have had. But we also have not had a scheme or OL so who knows how successful we could have been already.
-
So now we want Harris having the ball over Josh? When he was on the Pats I guarantee we would all say Josh is more dangerous in the red zone than Harris.
-
In the Bills O he would not have gotten many of these touches. I do hope it works out but until proven otherwise the ball in Josh hands in these situations has proven most effective.
-
Rushing td’s from the red zone are more on the play call and the OL than the RB.If Harris has 15 td’s for the Bills I would bet it means Allen got injured. We are not a line up qb under center hand off to the rb team. Even in the red zone we are still going shotgun. That is not the system Harris has been used in.
-
Better not be true It’s the new name syndrome. Replace X with Y. Y is obviously better. I agree Harris is just another dime a dozen rb. Actually a downgrade from singletary.
