  1. Yep. And it’s sold as an upgrade positive move.
  2. He is toast. Done. Logic? Guy we have not seen enough to know they are not good is better than guy that used to be good but is not anymore.
  3. Won’t be due to offense. They can all D in the draft if they want. Still have Reader, Pratt and Hendrickson.
  4. They have Chase, Higgins and Boyd with Burrow. Plus a better OL and Mixon. They don’t need upgrades. We do have Allen Diggs, and a bag of chips.
  5. And who is the qb? Josh Allen. If Keenum start we may have been 3-13.
  6. Concern is the $ and how this impacts other signings. We paid him like he is expected to contribute. He had a moderate role in 2021 but other than that not a lot. If it’s only for special times then it is even more concerning.
  7. Yes - if the sane qb plays for the bills, chiefs, 49ers, bengals, eagles we lose to all 4 of them. No question in my mind. Heck I would argue we lose to the jets and fins and many other teams.
  8. I would argue a lot of those drought eta teams could have been contenders with Allen as qb.
  9. Here is what you don’t get about this signing. If this is the guy we target and give this money, why did we not just get Toney at the deadline? We had a need so bad we signed guys off the street. He would have helped last year and be cheaper this year and next. A good GM should be thinking a year out not just reacting which seems like the bills always are.
  10. Better question is - take way Josh Allen and how many teams are we better than? This supporting cast is getting weaker.
  11. For me it’s gone backwards if these moves preclude others. We needed a legit WR. We got Hines, Harty and McK for that price. I would have cut Hines, not signed Harty and gone after one of the wr available. Truly hope so
  12. Only one is impactful. The backup qb is required but hopefully not impactful. The wr is a Hail Mary.
  13. Is it April 1st?
  14. Teams will be fooled. Won’t know which Allen to prep for.
  15. I really hope so. But to me it’s like buying a lotto ticket vs putting in the work. I hope I wrong.
  16. That was two seasons ago. He played the first 4 games this year and caught 2 passes. So no.
  17. Missed out on David and Long. Both very affordable. I would taken both for the $12m
  18. Waiting on help for Allen
  19. Without digging into it mia- Howard, Ramsey, Holland, Jones, Kohou, Elliott, Igbinoghene
  20. So it’s even worse? Small, 4.48 guy, with injury history, limited numbers in a pass happy offense that gets creative, and we pay guaranteed money.
  21. D Cook is is cooked. He is done.
  22. Yeah but this how injuries typically work. When guys start getting banged up in their 30’s it generally gets worse not better. I love Hyde and Poyer as a tandem. It’s just at this point you need solid back ups. We don’t have anyone I trust on this roster and I can’t bank on them playing every week. So confused by this move.
  23. Just a realistic expectation given age and recent history. Both were beaten up last year. Hyde is still an unknown.
  24. It feels like another one of these moves that will backfire. Either will be hurt or McD won’t trust. And I thought drafting both Stevenson and Shakir both were addressing the return game. Both McK and Hines can be return guys. Seems like another luxury move that does not address the glaring holes.
