10/5/2025 GAMEDAY Bills vs Patriots 1st Half Thread SNF
ngbills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This o plan is odd tonight. Less Cook it seems. And not really sure what they are trying to do. -
It is not a random number. It is literally when he was drafted and that's all it is. Yes, you can dig deeper but that was not an attempt to dig deeper but just point it out.
-
Another injury - Walter Nolen in AZ. So Jackson is the only healthy scratch of the top 72. Because that is when Jackson was drafted. 72nd.
-
No complaints just facts. Bad luck if anything. Regardless, the truth is still the truth - 69 of the first 72 players drafted have all seen the field. 2 of the 3 that haven't are Bills

Is Hawes in the process of surpassing Knox as TE2??
ngbills replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
"effectiveness in both phases of the game" He has 4 catches in 4 games...he runs a 4.8...he caught like 50 passes over 41 games in college for like 500 yards. Not sure why everyone is so infatuated by this guy. I am happy to see a late round pick able to contribute like he has. But I am not ready to say he is the Bills TE of the future. I am fine him just being a contributor like he has. -

We go pass heavy he will not be on the field. We go run heavy he will. He is a blocking TE. Yes, he will occasionally catch a pass. Any NFL TE can catch the ball. Lets not get ahead of ourselves because he has 4 catches in 4 games. -
I didnt realize this thread was about the entire draft class. This was about Landon Jackson not an evaluation of the draft class. Our 3rd round pick has not seen a snap and I was pointing out that our 1st rounder has not either. They are 2 of only 3 players league wide picked that early in the draft that have not played. It is more of a fact than a criticism. And being 4-0 with no impact from 2 of your top 3 picks...
-
Isnt this about a guy picked in the last draft? Not drafting all time. That would be a whole other discussion.
-
I go with Stonehouse
-
We pick before PHI and KC
-
Super Bowl Teams 1-3 rounders: PHI: Campbell - started all 4 games Mukuba - 3 starts, 85% of snaps KC: Simmons - started all 4 games Norman-Lott - 1 start, playing 30% of snaps overall Williams - 19% of snaps Gillotte - 1 start, 41% of snaps
-
Jackson and Hairston are 2 of 3 players picked in the top 72 picks that have yet to play a down.

Derrick Henry runs over the Bills. It’s Derrick Henry what are you supposed to do? Nobody could stop him right? I think he has less yards the last three weeks combined, than the bills in week one. -

We should be down two TD’s. How easily we could run against these guys mixed with some playaction should have been a blow out. -

Why? Out thinking yourself. Just run it up the gut or roll Allen out. -

So much for the early blowout and resting guys. -
I say we do this every game we are winning. Fumble the ball as many times as possible so no one can say we win because the turnover battle and luck. It will be the opposite we are now winning despite 7 turnovers per game. The nfl will fear us. But then teams will stop recovering the fumbles and we will go back to winning the turnover battle and no one will fear us any more because we are lucky again.

Too many int's as well.
-
6 picks last year and 6 picks 2 years ago. A guy that can play at a position of need.
-
Savvy vet. A little slow but solid back up.
-
Play smart and win easy. Ideally starters are not on the field in the 4th.

That was a championship level play by Bernard
ngbills replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was more Walker than Bernard. Walker made the play and Bernard was in the right place right time. Team effort.
