  1. So much short term memory or lack of real memory. The Bills had a ton of ~8-8 seasons with guys like Edwards, Losman, Taylor, an old Bledsoe, Orton, etc. You cant tell me Allen replacing any of those QB's does not drastically change things. Additionally many of those years were in a much tougher AFC east with 6 tough games compared to the past few years in the division. I would expect a capable HC to inherit this team with Josh Allen and achieve at least similar results. The Bills win more games from either playing crappy teams or Josh Allen balling out than coaching or game plan genius.
  2. No stone unturned and the only LB still stuck under a stone from getting plowed is Spector.
  3. Its because all the ex Carolina players are too old now.
  4. Only 5th round or later rookies can learn the system fast. Anyone else takes too long so is pointless to look at.
  5. We dont CJ Gardner-Johnson or Jabril Peppers. Heck we dont need to look at Germaine Pratt. We have the mighty Baylon Spector... And they can only do that because Josh Allen. Take Allen away and I bet these guys are out of job.
  6. What they need to get back to is more Cook out of the backfield vs this look. You have the WR on right run a slant or drag taking his CB and the S help, then you have Cook out quick to right flat. If they dont send help to WR you have him and if they do Cook should be able to free up.
  7. I wish they looked at Pickens, cheap contract and didn't cost a lot. I honestly didnt think White would even make the team let alone a guy getting 80%+ of the snaps.
  8. I am sure he will to defend himself. I mean but who in their right mind could predict: Coleman - Would be what his scouting report said and that he lacks speed and separation ability. Palmer - An average NFL WR would just be an average NFL WR and not a game changer. Moore - See Palmer Samuel - See Moore and Palmer
  9. I would rather get a Safety anyway. But Hairston has not even played an NFL preseason game. Who knows when he is healthy and what he will bring. So I would not be against if someone is available. We need multiple bodies in the secondary.
  10. Sometimes its easier for people to just say but our O scores 30 per game and we have made the playoffs every year. Rather than looking at what it could be with a different WR crew or philosophy etc. Maybe we have multiple super bowl wins. The results can be good and still be limiting the full potential. We have generational talent at QB. Better coaches, skill players, etc is he a guy that gets multiple rings? But keeping him in this system he scores a lot points, wins some mvp's, but never the ultimate prize? I dont know, but worth thinking about vs. just we dont need to change anything bc we score a lot already.
  11. The loss last night and even the previous wins highlight we need a WR and S. Rapp and Bishop are not cutting it. Go get CJ Gardner-Johnson and best of the unhappy WR out there. As we saw even with an ineffective Amari Cooper, he still drew some attention. The current group does not have any one guy that does that.
  12. Shows what having a WR like Diggs can do for a QB. We saw it with a young Josh. A solid gameplan to defend Diggs and its possibly a different story.
  13. Highly unlikely we were going undefeated. We will probably have another bad loss at some point this year. More concerning is how the defense has played. BAL has been the only legit offense and we were a joke most of that game. But even against below average teams we often look outmatched. Come playoff time it’s scary to think the O will carry them.
  14. Maybe open it up vs this crappy secondary? Throw it to cook out of the backfield? A screen couldn’t hurt.
  15. This o plan is odd tonight. Less Cook it seems. And not really sure what they are trying to do.
  16. It is not a random number. It is literally when he was drafted and that's all it is. Yes, you can dig deeper but that was not an attempt to dig deeper but just point it out.
  17. Another injury - Walter Nolen in AZ. So Jackson is the only healthy scratch of the top 72. Because that is when Jackson was drafted. 72nd.
  18. No complaints just facts. Bad luck if anything. Regardless, the truth is still the truth - 69 of the first 72 players drafted have all seen the field. 2 of the 3 that haven't are Bills
  19. "effectiveness in both phases of the game" He has 4 catches in 4 games...he runs a 4.8...he caught like 50 passes over 41 games in college for like 500 yards. Not sure why everyone is so infatuated by this guy. I am happy to see a late round pick able to contribute like he has. But I am not ready to say he is the Bills TE of the future. I am fine him just being a contributor like he has.
  20. We go pass heavy he will not be on the field. We go run heavy he will. He is a blocking TE. Yes, he will occasionally catch a pass. Any NFL TE can catch the ball. Lets not get ahead of ourselves because he has 4 catches in 4 games.
  21. I didnt realize this thread was about the entire draft class. This was about Landon Jackson not an evaluation of the draft class. Our 3rd round pick has not seen a snap and I was pointing out that our 1st rounder has not either. They are 2 of only 3 players league wide picked that early in the draft that have not played. It is more of a fact than a criticism. And being 4-0 with no impact from 2 of your top 3 picks...
  22. Isnt this about a guy picked in the last draft? Not drafting all time. That would be a whole other discussion.
  23. I go with Stonehouse
  24. We pick before PHI and KC
  25. Super Bowl Teams 1-3 rounders: PHI: Campbell - started all 4 games Mukuba - 3 starts, 85% of snaps KC: Simmons - started all 4 games Norman-Lott - 1 start, playing 30% of snaps overall Williams - 19% of snaps Gillotte - 1 start, 41% of snaps
