That's exactly it we don't attack the ball at all. This whole defense is keep everything in front of you and tackle. Funny thing is this year especially were horrible at tackling.

I swear there are so many games in the McDermott era that we hear if this guy stays here or this guys just plays it this way the result would of been different. Then I'm having to go with it's a coaching problem. If his one job is to stay and contain how could he drop off in coverage... something doesn't smell right with that answer, there is no way a player can go that rogue out there without someone saying do this.

But beane will never do it...he will call ask about it so the media can leak it like he is trying to do something to make the team better. Basically he got on the radio and admitted the approach there going with is everybody eats, for him to go and trade for a receiver now admits he was wrong and he won't admit it. So basically it's his pride holding him back instead of putting it aside and addressing a clear and obvious problem on this football team.

Trey shouldn't be starting, I understand he is a locker room guy but this is about results and he isn't getting any good ones. He is a liability in coverage every time he is out there. We obviously don't know football as good as the coaches do but the tape itself doesn't lie. He can't cover...he is to slow now to read and react to plays being targeted his way and he definitely doesn't have the speed to keep up with any receiver with a quick twitch to his game.

The defense came out with some juice and the offense looked to just be going through the motions. Honestly it would be nice to see this team put it together on both sides of the ball from the jump in the games going forward. Will that happen probably not but I'm always hopeful.

Tbh I acted this way after beating KC in the regular season a few years ago. But I've realized this whole regular season thing is fun but the playoffs are the test always have been and always will be. So now and day's I try not to overreact to regular season wins or losses. I know we will be in the playoffs and hopefully by some grace of anything we can pull it off and win the whole dam thing 😂

Hopefully but so far it's been very underwhelming. Our CB2 issue is major. Again Milano is injured and we have guys coming off suspension that will hopefully help with the pass rush. But as for right now this Bills defense has definitely been pretty crappy this season.

You're OB had a good game, but he is right this Bills defense is pretty average. No one's saying Maye won't turn into a elite player but the defense he played well against has major major flaws

How many rush yards did the saints put up...go check that stat 😂. Also they benched trey white in the saints game for the rookie who was just put on ir this week. Again context matters when just posting stats

Lol going by just stats proves to me that you'd haven't watched this particular bills defense. They are not above average what so ever. You saw our starting cb 2 who couldn't cover anything. Our run defense has been probably the worst in the NFL. So yes be proud you're team came into Buffalo and got a big time win, but also know it wasn't against a good defense.

I agree but it also helps Mahomes a ton having Andy Reid scheming up play calls. There's a lack of creativity in this offense in a league that presnap movement and motion is king.

Can someone in the media please bring this up. I honestly would like to hear how he spins that. Honestly that's utterly embarrassing and downright awful. Honestly with all the penalties and bad field position he was pressing you could clearly see it. He was trying to take the game into his hands and spark something that honestly wasn't there last night. He deserves his fair share of blame to but honestly he saw how stagnant the offense was and just decided to try it his way.

I understand what you're saying because we have seen it so many times. But my whole point is we have no idea how things will shake out at the end. KC could go out and lose to the jags today. This loss sucks because we never want to give a division rival hope I get it, but there's allot of football left. There is going to be flukey losses for teams and injuries. I feel the frustration myself but know there's so much more that's going to happen by the end of this season.

So basically if we didn't go 17-0 the one seed was gone. I understand the frustration because it just feels the same every year, but we're going to lose games no one is going undefeated. Now if the team comes out as sloppy as they did last night against Atlanta then that will say allot more at least to me then losing to the Patriots how they did yesterday.

I'd agree with you but we heard the exact same thing a few years back with Mac Jones. There's still a long way to go anything can happen in the NFL especially. We could be sitting here this time next week saying I can't believe the Patriots lost to the saints.

Everybody eats but we don't have that guy who wants that last slice of pizza. Instead we have guys who go, there's one more slice anyone want it. No one is showing josh they want to be that guy he looks to when a play needs to be made. I'm not even talking about the talent of the position I'm talking about the mentality of it. You saw Diggs wanted that ball he needed that ball. Maye saw that and looked his way every time even if he happened to be covered.

The scary part is that he was probably one of our best defenders out there last night.

That was a sloppy game by two teams, the Bills made more mistakes and the Patriots capitalized on the mistakes. Now are the Patriots heading in the right direction the answer is yes, but there going to lose games you'd expect them to win just like the Bills do and pretty much every NFL team does.

I understand why there doing kickoffs like this, but man is it frustrating that pretty much every return will more then likely get you to the 35 or beyond. This honestly gives a big advantage to the team receiving a kick after a score. Especially if the team receiving the kick just needs a field goal to win. I feel it's a huge advantage with how kickers now and day's just bomb 50 plus yarders.

So many people just love to be miserable but with 17 back there anything is possible. I just hope the constant negativity some people live in on this board can at least enjoy this win.

That's totally possible but the emotion for the long time fans would be something legendary. I can't speak for every Bills fan nor would I try but just getting one for the fan base would certainly change allot of hate into positivity in my opinion.

I understand what you're saying but honestly most people just want to win the Superbowl at this point. We have arguably the most talented QB in the NFL and have had chances to make it there. I am enjoying the ride but I'm starting to get to the now or never point with this regime to be honest. I was to young to enjoy the Superbowl runs of yesteryear, and went through the misery of the drought. Winning and being talked about as a Nfl power house has been awesome but I do crave more for this team, just go out and win the whole darn thing already.
