  1. I very much love seeing is miss out on paying Gronkowski $10M.
  2. That tweet does not suggest that the bills are in the mix, at all. Big difference between being in the mix and being one of the teams that could be in the mix.
  3. You realize the free agent option we are talking about is Gerald Everett right? We are not talking about signing Travis Kelce vs a mid round pick. Obviously I'd love a stud TE. I'm not paying Everett $12M to come in and be slightly better than Knox. A draft pick is a better option.
  4. I wanted Everett going into FA but if he's going to get crazy money like some of these other guys then forget it. Would rather spend a little more and get someone like Samuel or Fuller, and then spend a mid-late rd pick on a TE.
  5. Meh is being generous
  6. I really wish we would move on from Edmunds this off-season. It's time IMO. And he should have decent trade value being young and still having "potential". He is a pro bowl lb after all, lol. He is a disaster at MLB and is going to get abused by the pats. I feel like McBeane is going to be really stubborn with him though, and he's going to end up being our starting MLB for way too long.
  7. Garbage teams are gobbling up all the FAs. We kind of knew this was how it was going to go with the cap situation this year.
  8. Samuel was high on my wish list. If agholor and davis are getting $13M per, and a bunch of teams are going after samuel, I guess we can take him off it. But maybe Beane can work some magic. He's be such a good fit for us.
  9. $13M per??? Baahahah what are the patriots doing???
  10. Maybe they'll take a 7th round pick for AJ Dillon? What an unbelievably stupid franchise.
  11. Also since yolo posted it I'm assuming it's a reliable source but looking at his Twitter it seems like a completely random person on the internet?
  12. Controversial take: the incident involving Hunt was WAY overblown and not nearly as bad as people made it out to be. The punishment he got was a result of the NFL trying to make up for the ray rice debacle. I would have no problem with him on the bills but I'm not trading a high draft pick or paying him a lot of money, same stance on RBs in general.
  13. I would have loved to grab smith . But that is a lot of money for a TE that's never had 500 yards receiving in a season.
  14. Ideally we would sign a good pass rusher. No idea why Addison and Butler are still on the team.
  15. Wow. I am honestly in shock we were able to resign everyone. Don't know how Beane does it. With that said, going into next year with the exact same o line and defensive front 7 doesn't seem like a great strategy to me. This team needed upgrades this off-season, not to just bring the same team back. We were not close to being able to beat the chiefs or the bucs. Having spent almost all of our money before free agency, Beane really needs to nail the upcoming draft.
  16. Butler, Jefferson and Addison really just needed to be let go. McDermotts plan to use a heavy rotation of a bunch of average at best DLineman is not a good one. Really hope this doesn't stop us from using a high draft pick on a pass rusher, or signing one.
  17. Brandon ****ing Beane. Now let Mongo walk, draft a G, and our o line is set.
  18. Don't love or hate the deal. He's a good, not great player. Probably not worth what he's getting paid and I think the money would have been better spent elsewhere in a year where we have cap issues and bigger needs . But I'm not going to complain about keeping a key piece of the defense, and it's one less hole to worry about.
  19. When people reference #1 and 2 WRs they usually referring to outside guys. You know what I mean. Yes Beas > Davis as an option in the passing game.
  20. Another good point, I think this will be Beas' last year with the Bills and Samuel can fill his role in 2022. Really is a perfect fit for us
  21. Brown needs to be replaced , IMO. I wouldn't feel great about heading into next season with Davis as the number 2. Curtis samuel would be such a good fit. And I think he's a great candidate for someone that should take a short term deal this year. -Loaded free agent WR class, several guys ahead of him -He's only 24 and will still have room for two big contracts after this one -He didn't reach his full potential in Carolina. Why sign for 4-5 years when you can come to buffalo and ball out and then sign a massive deal If we can get him for 2 years $20M I am all for it. If we don't sign someone I like the idea of taking one in the second round, either with our current pick or trading out of the first.
  22. This was easy to predict and a move I wanted them to make. Still sad to see him go.
  23. Should have just let him go, IMO. But this is better than nothing.
  24. Addison too please.
  25. Eh. Nice to have him locked up and not have to worry about a hole at S for another couple years. Definitely feels like we overpaid though.
