I am sorry I was vague about the C19 and didn't realize it till you pointed it out. Guess I am gun shy on bringing it up. I am saying that this whole health fiasco and the managing and some would say mismanaging it brings me to the conclusion that things are not as simple as they seem going forward as say in the past perhaps. Yes we ASSUME the caps will rise like the tides do but we do not have any crystal ball that says they in reality will.

That is simply NOT true - if it were he would be gainfully employed by CBS or any of the other major networks not doing podcasts. All your other points are spot on. I have met the man a few times. Uber competitive, gives you very little time from what I observed and generally seems like a nice guy.

Inigo - another very good set of insights. I find issue with the following; 1. The D will regain more than "some" of their form. I am firmly in the camp that between Star opting out and the loss of lordy I can not remember who it was to the phins caused a lapse that the Bills struggled to regain. With Star returning, in pretty dam good form and the addition of the rooks....I see a marked improvement for the Bills on D. 2. The Bills will only move onward and upward on the O. Between the improved (if even possible) chemistry of the WR's and Josh, the addition of Sanders and Jake the Snake, the addition of Hollister and the speed of Brieda the O is taking it to another level. Just drool over the WR depth. One goes down another goes in. The rest of the NFL is looking at the WR corps of the Bills and shaking their heads. 3. EFF the effing cheatriots. They will be worried about us. Why? The Bills brain trust will have 11 weeks of film to dissect what BB has up his sleeve. Normally the Bills face the cheats early to their disadvantage. Those days are over. Smith and Henry are NOT Gronk and the Criminal. Jones and doofus are NOT Brady. Nuff said. I dunno - those 4 years show A LOT more than u might think - meaning his record as a starter wasn't bad, the man doesn't suck. Bills have a decent chip in thier pile they can use if needed.

I do not hold TV networks in a bidding war against each other..... I am newly retired (58) and I was compensated justly therefore no reason for me to ask for raises. Great well thought out, well reasoned post Inigo. I have to agree with all your thoughts. I do not know how but I knew when the Bills picked him I KNEW he was gonna be good. I was ridden like a 2 dollar pony after people saw me on a local TV station praising the pick when I was interviewed at my local watering hole in Rochester NY. For some reason I just had the feeling he was it. And? He IS it! Go Bills!!!
