  1. 5-11. I think this is more the tank year. I also hope that I am wrong. I do think that 0-8 is a very real possibility and then they make the switch to Allen.
  2. I think it's a very fair point. If they really disliked Schmidt they could have drafted Dickson or Scott or Townsend...maybe signed Marquette King when he was cut. That said I am ok with it. My guess is they had some agreement with this new punter, so they went ahead and drafted Austin Proehl...NE came calling and the punter screwed them and signed with NE instead. I think it happens a lot with UDFA. Bills were patient and got their guy. They must really like this guy, otherwise the move is questionable.
  3. Teams do this all of the time. They cut and bring in new kickers all of the the time. The Adam Vinatieries and Shane Lechlers of the world are outliers. As Bills fans we have not had a lot of turnover in the kicking game for awhile because we had Moorman and Lindell all that time. It's standard operating procedure in the NFL. Remember before Lindell there was guys like Mike Hollis, Jake Arians etc etc. it happens.
  4. This is clearly a situation where they really like this guy and his upside and they must know that either someone will claim or that they won't be able to get him on the practice squad. Keeping him on the roster must have been their only avenue to keep him. He was a very high priority UDFA.
  5. I know Matt Boesen is undersized but I was more impressed with him than Love.
  6. Nassib makes sense on a few levels. He's a Penn State guy, high motor, former walk on. He's also a bigger defensive end that fits the McDermott mold.
  7. This is Tank Carder all over again! Damn you Browns! ?
  8. I have no problem with this guy making the team. The guy has potential. This is the type of guy you try to hold on to and develop imo.
  9. Agreed. I really don't understand the harm in playing Teller over those other guys. I mean there will be growing pains, but Ducasse sucks. So he will make the same mistakes and worse, but it's okay because he is a "vet." The only thing I hesitate with in regard to this regime is their undying devotion to crappy veterans like Vlad and Tolbert.
  10. Spencer Drango of the Browns is an interesting name. Former 5th round pick out of Baylor who can play tackle or guard. I liked him during draft time.
  11. Austin Howard is a tried and true Juan Castillo guy.
  12. John Simon cut from the Colts. Undersized defensive end (who is bigger than Hughes). He's one of those non stop motor guys I always really liked. He seemed like a bad 4-3 fit and then had a really good preseason. He's a surprise cut I'd love to have on our team.
  13. Spencer Pulley is a center cut from the Chargers. Started a bunch of games last year. Nico Siragusa G was a 4th round pick in 2017 coming off a knee injury. Matt Tobin T cut from the Pats.
  14. Yeah WR and DB seem like two places that might change. I think signing Gentry is a no brainer. Should be an interesting waivers period.
  15. Oh well. I liked O'Leary. I still don't like the way Croom and Thomas block, but I can't deny Croom's potential as a receiver. I still think Thomas can be good eventually. I think I would have kept OLeary over Lee, but it's all good.
  16. Another one.. Ravens defensive end Bronson Kaufusi...former third round pick. He's a very big DE at 6-7, 275
  17. A couple of interesting names cut. Eric Lee DE who we had then cut and looked good for the Pats. Tanner Gentry who is a receiver the Bears waived. He was Josh Allen's guy at Wyoming. Vince Biegel OLB cut from Green Bay. Thats all all I got.
  18. Reilly was avalable to any team in the draft last year and no one wanted him. He was avalable when he was cut last year after he had an awesome pre season. No one wanted him. He was avalable to be signed off the practice squad all season and no one wanted him. Now that he has been hurt and has done very little this preseason, people like the Patriots are going to be knocking down his door to get him sto sign. Makes sense.
  19. I think the consensus was the both Mayfield and Rosen were the more pro ready type quarterbacks while Darnold and Allen had the highest ceiling. Rosen is the more advanced quarterback at this point but Allen clearly has a huge ceiling.
  20. They should be able to switch it back. Good luck
  21. I got the genie 2 and my protection plan stayed at 8.99. My technician offered me the whole 21.99 upgrade thing and I declined. Apparently that protects other devices like TVS and such. Perhaps the technician tried to screw you over by getting you to sign that agreement? It was right next to where I had sign for the upgrade of equipment.
  22. Either approach works. If you say you want to cancel I think u kind of have to be really willing to cancel. But you have to make sure u talk to customer retention. The first person you speak to is worthless. Telling the machine you want to cancel gets you directly to those people. How you negotiate from there is your call.
  23. I like to roll this way. Keep some mystery about me.
