  1. He has plenty speed, running a reported 4.32 at his pro day. I think he is still working on becoming a consistent reciever, but he catches the ball, he's big, and he's fast. Plus I think he will re-gain that chip on his shoulder. When he was in Cleveland he played with an edge, like he had something to prove. It seems like, once he got some money he pulled back. Now I think he is in a place where he has a chance to prove himself again. I think he's going to light it up here.
  2. He will go off in the two Jets games I'm sure.
  3. He seems to be able to protect himself really well. He always knows when there is pressure coming and where it is coming from so he gets his body ready to take the hit. He never gets hit in the head or low...except that time he blew out his knee.
  4. Chris Conley of the Chiefs is the guy to get in my opinion. Ridiculous athlete who isn't really getting a ton of chances to shine with KC. He's a good guy and a smart guy who is a bit quirky and I think he would be well liked in Buffalo. I thought he was really interesting in the draft a few years ago. He has upside if he can put things together. 6-3, 4.35 forty with a 45 inch vert. He's played well when guys have been hurt and out but he is a bit buried in KC.
  5. I'm fine keeping what we have. But next I would throw a ton of money and power at Nick Caserio of the Pats. He's basically been their pseudo general manager for a while. Probably bring Josh McDaniels with him. I also think John Defellipo and Matt Lafluer are going to be the hot new coordinators on the next hiring cycle. I think LaFleur is pretty interesting. I also think Dan Campbell of the Saints deserves a chance to be a head coach again. I was impressed with what he did in Miami and now he's serving under Sean Payton.
  6. I think it's a bit crazy to trade their starting safety when they are going for it this year as A-Aron gets older. It just seems that they aren't willing to pay guys in that position. Haha is a pending free agent they had no interest in resigning, who is pretty average and has had issues with teammates. Also, I think their new GM wants to draft his own guys ala Beane.
  7. He's nothing special but was kind of ok for the Bears. As many pointed out, he threw a good amount of interceptions. But as a backup he makes some sense. He is a good dude and a big time Christian, so McDermott will love him.
  8. Peterman did a good job of preparing for his inevitable destiny...from his Pitt Bio: earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Tennessee…received his MBA from Pitt’s Katz Graduate School of Business. So he is all set as he ventures to future endeavors.
  9. I'd be fine with it
  10. Chris Canty is awesome on ESPN radio. He should be the color guy on MNF. His takes are intelligent, have depth and he is fun to listen to. He has great personality.
  11. Nate Hackett must have left that in his desk or something.
  12. Honestly, I think league perception is the KB and Clay are better than they are playing. And I think that is true. BB talked about how important it was to stop Charles Clay. Teams design their defenses to take away KB a lot of the time. So I think there is some value there. I dunno, I could be wrong, but that's what I think.
  13. I get where you are coming from, but offenses and quarterbacks that would do more with KB than throw jump balls on go's, would probably get more out of him. He should be running more in breaking routes, digs, crossing routes, etc. He would do those things with Indy and Green Bay and would play with competent quarterbacks. A guy that big should be working the middle of the field, not running 9 routes on the outside. This is the same crap we saw with Sammy Watkins. He never ran any in breaking stuff or screens or any of that stuff. He was the go route guy. Now we see the impact he is having in KC because he is actually being used right. KB's been bad, but he also isn't being used properly.
  14. KB I think. I hope Charles Clay goes at some point too. I still say, trade Clay and a pick or something to the tight end needy Chargers for Forrest Lamp, who is wasting away on their bench. KB I could see getting traded to the Colts or I think he would be a great fit for the Packers. I think Shady and Hughes stay, unless they get a king's ransom.
  15. I never watch MNF, but wow what a terrible broadcast. Between the pregame stuff with the Applebees boneless wings to the awful announcing and the lack of real analysis. It was a cliche ridden broadcast that felt like a Key and Peele skit. Execute, give a 100%.
  16. Unfortunately, they would have to go with Peterman. If I am Anderson I am not feeling great about the decision to come back. He was not expecting to play and now he is getting his butt kicked and embarrassing himself. He probably should have stayed on the couch. Peterman sucks, but he gives the team a better chance to win than some guy off the street.
  17. He's terrible. Honestly I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt after the Chargers game. Chalk that up to jitters, trying to do too much. But he sucks. He's not an NFL quarterback and doesn't have the physical talent or upside that is worth developing.
  18. This I like. Allen was a really highly recruited player with a ton of talent. He had t deal with some really crazy circumstances in college. Deals with drama at A&M, transfers to Houston to get a chance to throw the ball, sits out a year and coach leaves, so he gets stuck ina a quarterback as a runner offense. Anyway, cut Peterman and stick this guy on the practice squad. As an added bonus he is close with Josh Allen as they lived and trained together for the lead up to the draft under Jordan Palmer's tutelage. This is exactly the kind of guy you bring in to develop.
  19. I used to like Hue Jackson but he was not impressive during Hard Knocks. He was begging players and coaches to do things his way. I was not impressed. That said, I wish him luck.
  20. I'm not sure Thomas is a move that makes sense at the moment. He's owed a significant amount of money and is a bit on the older side. That said, he is leaps and bounds better than anyone we have. If you can get him cheap, then I am all for it. Denver should sell low so they can get out of the contract.
  21. I actually think there is a chance they re-assign Culley next year and hire Rob Chudzinski to work directly with Josh Allen. Maybe as an assistant head coach who just works with Josh. We never heard anything about Chudzinski being fired in Indy but he obviously doesn't work there anymore. I'm guessing he was asked to sit out a year and collect his paycheck.
  22. For those talking about John Brown, we offered him a contract this year and he turned us down. Why would 2019 be any different?
  23. Maybe they are just looking for another return man if Marcus Murphy has to get more carries on offense.
