At some point, if this is a true SB contender, we shouldn't care who wins the AFC west/North divisions. This team will need to win a SB by beating three great teams at minimum. If they can't do it, they were never deserving.
What I don't understand is why the Bills keep beating KC in the regular season. Only to keep losing to them in the postseason. I've never seen anything like that. It's infuriating because we know we can beat them. Except in January.
Oh I'd be stunned if the DC isn't fired tomorrow. This was the top SB pick. The media/fans in Baltimore will want blood.
They absolutely have to make a change because it looks real bad.
People don't want to say it.
Spags/Reid>McDermott
The Bills can beat KC in the postseason. But it will be a 38-35 type win. Allen will need to be near perfect. Which he is capable of. But he should not have to be.
Are the Chiefs back to what they were or is this Baltimore just collapsing? It's hard to say.
My concern is Baltimore will fire their DC/make other changes, and then start playing much better.
Makes no sense.
Why not go with whatever defensive plan you have. If the offense shreds you on the first drive, adjust.
That type of Defense could cost the team against top tier QB's.
The Bills could go all in and beat the Saints 50-10. But I don’t want the starters out there longer than they need to be. More snaps=higher chance of injury.
Get a huge lead and put in backups.
This.
I also think physical talent is used way too much in top 5 debates. Aaron Rodgers looked great throwing 60 yards off his backfoot in October against Detroit. Tom Brady looked even better shredding a top five defense of all time in the 4th quarter of the 2014 SB. Or, coming back down 25 against Atlanta in the Super Bowl.
I'm a Bills fan. And Allen has more natural talent than a Tom Brady or Montana. But he certainly isn’t a better QB than either. And even he would say that.
