    Shawn Smith. 4th least penalties called this year. Half the holding calls as most refs, slightly higher PI calls. No roughing the passer calls.

    It will be interesting to see how the Pats play against our 21 set. Do they stay in base 3-4 or go nickel? I guess Digger is like a LBer... But we had a lot of success in game 1 last year running against their nickel and dime D.

    New England reporters tweeting out the Bourne has cleared protocol. It's not clear if this is based in testing out, or the Pats applying an interpretation that asymptomatic players aren't spreading the virus so they can play.

    I think it's more important to run the ball when the defense thinks it's coming because it setups up the play action pass than it is to run it just for the sake of running it.
