  1. I believe we converted three or four 3rd and 10 or mores, and one 3rd and 9. The two TDs were on 3rd and long, and 2nd and 13.
  2. Yep. I don't think there is any way they let him go. He also doesn't appear to be the greedy sort, and seems to love it in Buffalo. They will sign him and take care of him very well. He's every bit a McDermott guy, and even more so as a DB.
  3. If that is the current forecast it's likely to be 60 and sunny that day.
  4. As in "gets it but not from the Bills?"
  5. I also like the fact that there arent many days or enough time to have the national media spotlight on the Bills or to think too much about the big game that everyone is watching. The less the better.
  6. Fans looking ahead doesn't really hurt the team or upcoming game. That's not a thing.
  7. And yet he is only making 1-2 m now. If you rip up next year and give him 15 you are losing 12-13m which is the difference over five years from 15 to 16-17. The fifth year option will be less than 15. It's tricky business and I agree to lock him up early, but it's likely not saving much money and you actually may have him a year or two less under contract.
  8. To me, this is the game to do what they did and I have no problem with it. Our defense had the game in control. In other games, with similar scores, I think it's bad coaching to take your foot off the gas. It gives you less of a chance to win. And most all of the best coaches will try to bury teams. In today's game, I didn't mind the conservative nature. But it cuts down on stats.
  9. I think it's so obvious that that is going to happen that there is almost no chance that is going to happen.
  10. No. You're right. It's surely not. But I do think that its scoring output is limited if not severely limited by McD's conservative nature.
  11. He was. And it wasn't his first catch either. So they got it wrong. I was glad they got him involved with the reverse to utilize his speed. I still think he can be a valuable contributor this season. Hopefully the injury is minor.
  12. Wasn't the play Foster came up lame the crossing pass he caught and not the reverse he ran? I heard someone on the post game say the same thing so maybe I drank more than I thought I did. But I thought he looked like he pulled up on the pass play for good yardage and not the run play.
  13. You don't even know it's a hamstring injury, let alone the exact same hamstring injury. And he was running on the sidelines after it happened. Was Singletary?
  14. That is the overwhelming consensus, so no way it happens that way.
  15. If you think Devlin Hodges is the answer, cool.
  16. Any time we looked bad as a defense the entire season we were being gashed in the run game.
  17. They barely beat the Bengals today with Ryan Findlay. They're done. This is not the same Steelers team. I'm shocked that Tomlin benched Rudolph in fact. That's the sign of complete desperation.
  18. Pay him middle range of top DBs but also pay him top range of goalie coaches, so it gets him his money but lessens our cap.
  19. She stout? Tough up the middle? Well prepared? Watch a lot of film? Underrated against the pass? Tough to score on? We need to know.
  20. There are some records in sports that are somewhat tainted or lessened by longevity when a player hits loftier milestones simply because he plays way more games. This isn't one of them. Granted, the guy he passed would have had a lot more yards had he not retires. But Frank's were well earned yards.
  21. They are but the team is going to be all but out of the race I think, which enters into a lot of psychologies of the game.
  22. It's stating the obvious, but that kind of thing could either help or hurt them a small amount. Let's hope it causes a little less concentration on the Bills.
  23. A quarter of the game we barely tried to score though. I think we score 27 or more if this was a closer game.
