  1. The failures need to go. They're not legends. They've been imparting knowledge to guys for 20 years and it hasn't done anything. They're guys who crave attention who arent recognized in NYC or LA and come back here for it. It's like college kids who can't get time who go back to their high school wearing their Letterman and patrol the sidelines. I wish him the best, but it's old and tired.
  2. Poor Jim? He'd be a nobody without the Bills. He craves this attention and puts himself in this position time and time again. He should go mentor the Houston gamblers QB since he's done such a good job. No thanks, I wish him well but the dude needs to move on. Those who disagree can't see through the facade.
  3. Great informative post, the only thing I'd disagree with is a new stadium 100% funded by the Pegulas would be taken as a slap in the face by Albany. They could easily tout that as a victory to the average person. I think most east of Syracuse have no clue about previous state investments in NEF. They spin it as they stood up to the man. Unless as you say the infrastructure is so costly and time consuming as it might be if they move downtown. Still, even then I could see that expenditure being added to a bill in a way most wouldn't notice. I honestly think downstate doesn't pay attention to anything over here. We really should take them for a walk. No one in the NYC area pays attention to up here. They're more concerned about subways and what ostacio cortez says. I love NYC and have many friends there, but they are so self involved.
  4. People already whine about standing in the 100s. If I'm way taller I definitely will turn around and ask the person about their view. But if you got two legs, you can stand you lazy jamoche. I just want better bathrooms. Other than that, I don't see a problem with the venue. I'm not opposed to a new stadium if it's not with tax payer dollars. I have no concern about generating more revenue for billionaires in a league with an unneeded salary cap. If some don't go because of the weather, don't care about you not attending. I can understand raising prices to get the crazies jumping through tables out. I understand that. I usually take one party bus a year to the game and a lot of my friends aren't even there to watch the game. Just to drink and the party atmosphere. But I know some season ticket holders and people like me who are a bit rowdy, loud, but not crazy with the shenanigans who will never be priced out. I usually pay like 150 a ticket when I go. I only go to big games and stick to 100s.
  5. Oh my God this post is so garbage I don't even know where to begin. You don't care for the other sports, just leave it at that.
  6. Vorpma seems unhinged... I've met Andre and I have nothing good to say about him. What the hell are you going on about here? This makes absolutely zero sense.
  7. Another thread where we know more than the media... nice.
  8. Because Andre is a... I'll just stop. I've actually heard Bruce is a pretty nice dude.
  9. I can't because you've totally taken the conversation out of context. But 5 on 13 is great. $50. I don't know what mauve walls are but you should go broke for sounding like someone who watches Bravo. So 50 dollar tip for the mauve walls.
  10. Direct TV and hulu live blackout nationally televised NBA games right now. The first game of the finals wasn't available. I know that's not big to everyone, but I pretty much watch HQ, PTI, the news and sports. Everything else is on subscriptions. I think it's getting close but not there yet. I think within 10 years I can get a reasonably priced package from all the sports I watch the cut everything else. I'm not at the point of getting rid of cable yet, but I get why anyone would.
  11. I get it. When I go on trips it's 50/50 with my friends whenever the topic comes up. When I was a kid my family owned a travel agency and that's how my mom and dad have always been. So maybe it's just engrained in me.
  12. Nah only broke people can't afford the dollar or two to give to the high school or college kid. Why you feel the need to skimp out on them at a pizzeria is beyond me. You probably shouldn't even be ordering take out if you can't afford the tip.
  13. I can't believe how cheap this board is. You don't tip hotel maids? I go to a black barbershop and have been for years. I've never seen them refuse a tip, however it's mostly priced there as 20 bucks includes the tip.
  14. I think they use 4 small steps because you can get a variation of routes out of those 4 steps. Otherwise every out would be jumped on, with shorter quicker steps, the route runner retains the ability to cut in any direction as well as explode out of it. A cut on one foot can be crisp and quick, but I believe commits the receiver. You can't cut off you're right foot then come back left quickly off longer strides.
  15. I love the buffalo soldier suggestion. A soccer team in the Netherlands started playing don't worry and it became a thing. Even the Marley's bought into it. An incorporation of Buffalo Soldier would be great. Also the horns as mentioned need to go.
  16. Is he wearing timbs on a boat somewhere?
  17. Because an athlete can't do that everyday. The Body needs to recuperate. I understand working out different muscles on a schedule, but still even then, days off are needed. That's why hockey, basketball, baseball, and soccer have days off or sit players out. Even football has scheduled days off for players. I work 6 days a week at not a very physically demanding job, but we're trying to find ways to get me more time off. Saying something like go to work everyday is absurd. Especially in my opinion when it comes to ligament injuries. Those are either flukes, too much explosiveness around them from muscles or over usage. Working out everyday won't reduce them.
  18. That is absurd. A lot. You're right. These guys being held out by doctors for concussions are soft.
  19. I'm thinking Paulus might be Richie. The continual use of all caps is something someone would do who is unhinged. No Richie is a bad person. The story I heard about him sexually harrassing a female worker at a charity golf tournament seals it for me. Threatening people and doing stuff like that is irredeemable to me. You're looking the other way just because the guy can play football.
  20. I'm glad we set a franchise record in rushing TDs when it has became the wrong way to build an offense. Idk why I'm even wasting my time. Richie at his age isn't making or breaking us. Maybe if he was 24 I'd agree.
  21. I was making a dumb joke, but I appreciate the response. I never heard the song before.
  22. I'm telling you, Da'rick would have carried us to the superbowl This is really getting out of control. A guy can say I hope I'm wrong because I like Bills fans and then say something critical. The aptly named Bills Mafia (which is a stupid name) will harass them. It's embarrassing.
  23. I've been one of the ones more critical of Beane. I think some would see that, but I don't think this post makes any sense. Richie is wacked. He did it to himself. Beane saved cap money in that contract agreement. Richie lost it as he has always periodically done. I can't blame Beane for this. I don't see how anyone could. I'd wish Richie the best, but he's got like 34 years of proving he's an #######.
  24. I agree to an extent. If the guy was covering something of relative importance I'd care about journalism. Sports are entertainment, as far as I'm concerned Mean Gene is the GOAT. The ones complaining about journalism are taking this far too seriously. Please continue with your education and experience. This has started to become a boring trend on this board. I think I know far more about journalism than you suspect I do. Or just continue with half insults. Most in that business wouldn't consider Schopp, Stephen A, Chris Simms or any of them journalists. Or most of the other commentators, yet people like you keep bringing journalism into this when that's not what they are doing. They wouldn't even call themselves journalists at this point. I've heard two out of the three say it. But continue with something you read once. Journalists don't give opinions. Their jobs require them to. Same with Schatz. If he just gave the numbers and left it, he'd qualify as a journalist. Instead he is interpreting them with his own opinion. They don't even pretend to be journalists. Only people who disagree with them label them as such so they can use it as an attack. You don't know what you're talking about. Writing a column does not make you a journalist. Especially when it is self publicated.
