Fair point as I have no idea how the TV coverage would work. I just think if the league wanted it on a Friday or Saturday, they would ask for a waiver, and it would be granted by the government. I don't think there is risk of jeopardizing their relationship with college football due to the reasons. But if the broadcast range was severely limited as precedent seems to suggest, then everything I said is moot I'd imagine.

When baseball started out rough, I thought if Marlins ended up playing 50/60 games, I'd be okay with them going by win % for all teams. with nfl being 16 games, Idk if that works as well here. I don't think it would even be an option or is even being discussed as an option. I just thought win % is pretty fair if enough games played but with talking to friends and hearing others opinions on here, it seems that would not be kosher for most.
