The thing is neither is rational. Both sides of these "comparisons" are just "over the top". Week 1 isn't even in the books yet. It was a draft. Both teams picked Wide Receivers. Both will be judged eventually on how they helped their respective teams over the next 4 years (maybe longer, maybe shorter). That would be the "rational" thing to do.

The Bills have 6 DEs on the 53-man roster. They only need 4 for Sunday (even IF Smoot can't go). They were never going to dress all 6 on game day. It was pretty bad with injuries during camp/preseason but looking better now. One day at a time.
