  1. I use pro football reference for most of my stats. The overall snaps for the Bills players is here. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2022-snap-counts.htm If you click on the "player game by game" link you get this. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/ShakKh00/fantasy/2022
  2. He's got an average of over 30% of snaps in the last 2 games. That seems typical for a WR #4. I think he is coming around pretty good for a rookie and can see his role only going up from here.
  3. I highly doubt OBJ is willing to sign that contract. As to a doctor's examination telling how well a player returning from an ACL will play, I don't know if that is possible. You are speculating that OBJ will be somewhere between 80-90% with his play, but I see no evidence YET that he can. I guess if you were a GM you'd do a deal, I on the other hand wouldn't until I seen he can play this year.
  4. I'm in the "keep it at 10 yards" group. I'm old enough to remember this: https://www.footballzebras.com/2019/10/nfl100-90-year-old-rules-made-for-a-different-game/#:~:text=Big fouls %3D big yardage penalties&text=Up through 1977%2C a holding, was a 20-yard penalty! Big fouls = big yardage penalties Today, a holding penalty puts the offense in a difficult position to keep the drive alive. Up through 1977, a holding penalty almost assuredly killed a drive. A holding penalty used to be 15-yards, from the spot of the foul. So, if the offense held five yards behind the line of scrimmage, the hold actually was a 20-yard penalty! Starting in 1978, all illegal blocking fouls (except personal fouls) were reduced from 15 to 10 yard penalties.
  5. Good to hear Milano is practicing.
  6. He doesn't have to. Same goes for the teams. Do they have to sign him because he says he will be ready? It's a "buyer beware" situation. As to the contract terms, I see it the other way around. The amount he wants goes down every day he can't perform. How could it go up?
  7. I'm caught up on this thread and seeing what OBJ's expected timeline for return is, nothing has changed with me. I can't see signing any player until I see that he can work out to a satisfactory level. If he expects to be ready for the playoffs, he should be able to work out a few weeks earlier. So come back to town and show us when that happens. If he is too fragile to do that before the end of the month, he's not worth it for this year, IMO. The ball has been in his court this whole time on his recovery, it's not the other way around.
  8. @DrDawkinsteinis correct with his response. Both GoFundMe's were started by her best friend. The second was evidently started last week when they found out she would ultimately need an expensive wheelchair and van.
  9. I think he's got a good chance in this sport. Football? Not so much.
  10. 77 pages of the 107 were b-wording picking the wrong Josh.
  11. Is anyone shocked about this? I know I'm not.
  12. It was 50 degrees and no wind and a drizzle. Come on man, don't hit me with the negative waves!
  13. I'm going to say it's not a bad thing if the weather is cold and bad. Mike White (a Florida boy) has never played an NFL game in bad weather. He just may be in for a surprise at Highmark Stadium Sunday.
  14. Well said Muppy. Especially at this time of year. We all give our prayers, and we know that medical miracles are always just around the corner. My niece, a nurse at ECMC was working the night that Dane Jackson and Micah Hyde came in after their injuries. We as Bills fans were all concerned. She mentioned that Gabby was admitted to ECMC with her injuries just 2 weeks earlier. We both are saying a prayer that those 2 young guys will hear of Gabby and their shared experience and patronize her cause. Go Bills and Go Gabby.
  15. He'll get them from someone else. He made my "ignore" list.
  16. That's so funny....................because it's true!
  17. Wow, just wow. He's not a FA until 2025 and you want to get rid of him next year. This is the straw that broke the camel's back for me. You're on "time out". You might get reinstated for the playoffs. Might.
  18. You're right that injury settlements are made for non-vested vets (which Von is vested) but it's not a "courtesy" it's a player's right. Sometimes if the players agent/doctors disagree with a team's representative's it could go to arbitration. All this "career ending" talk will have no bearing until it could be proven. Von will start next year on PUP and remain there until he is cleared by the doctors to play. Then and only then if he cannot play will any "retirement" talks begin. Please give us some examples of vested-vet injury settlements. I'll give you an example of a player a team wished they could just get rid of and couldn't, Alex Smith. He stayed on IR and then PUP and eventually ended up being paid &71M for a total of 16 games. I wish this wasn't the case, but it is.
  19. When it's all said and done, I'm glad we got the QB we have representing our team compared to a good deal of others.
  20. Well, it seems like OBJ has been ratcheting up the hype machine only to have the reality be he probably can't be a playmaker in the 2022 season. I'll admit I got sucked into the frenzy, especially with the help from Von. As far as my fandom and the Bills go, I'm done with this and the only thing that will make me comment further on this "3-Ring Circus" will be after Beane tries to roll a hard eight on the craps table and signs him.
  21. It's awesome he is using the investment returns of his contract for worthy causes.
  22. She's the sweet girl next door.
  23. My Christmas Card is in the mail. So cool she will get one all the way from France. I'm old enough to remember when we kept a stamp collection. Those stamps from Europe were always keepers! Bravo Repulsif!
  24. It's not looking like it will get better anytime soon. I would say they should tank but they don't even have a 1st round pick. Remember when everyone said (even to start this year) that the Saints and all their salary cap escapades were brilliant. All that got them a 4-9 team and they are in really bad shape for next year too. I'm betting they have an exodus of free agents.
