  1. You don't think shining a flashlight like that, in a cops face, couldn't be considered assault of an officer? I do! They're essentially blinded by that, and cant effectively do their job. What is being allowed is beyond an assault on officers, and should be treated as such, immediately!
  2. Why do all of these Antifa/BLM people look like the absolute dreggs of society, across the board? Hell, most of them look like they're, at a minimum, partially mentally handicapped. If not Aspergers or something similar, at minimum, supremely deficient social upbringing.
  3. My GOD, THANK YOU for saying this. If you don't want my input, then stop taxing me to educate your flesh-turds!
  4. FYI - mix the above, minus tuna, plus minced shrimp, and you have 'shrimp-dip' (okay, maybe without the lemon of the gelatin, but it requires gelatin to 'set-up'). I know it doesn't sound good, but I promise promise, it's freaking out of this world good, and is a requirement for every party my wife and I attend (I don't know if we suck so bad that we have to bring the treat to get admittance to said parties, but it doesn't hurt, and is what keeps getting us invited!)
  5. One more time, where is my WOW or OMG/WTF emogi, please!
  6. Holy crap, I got through about 1/2 of that, and just couldn't take any more. I went from a thanks, to a LOL, to wanting a WTF or WOW 'emoji' thing. Just, OMG, (also want an OMG emoji!); how are we supposed to take these people seriously, when they accuse us/we/me of every offense, under the sun, that I don't think/want/do. Just WOW!
  7. I haven't kept up with this topic, but if one of our players is concerned, so are most of us. But guess what, if employer calls up and says that you're on deck for working, be there, or be unemployed. It's the same for all of us; be careful, be safe, and be ready for use wherever you're being paid to be used.
  8. It WOULD be a disaster for a democracy. Good thing we're not a democracy. Seems to work perfectly for a representative republic, though!
  9. I've watched Morgan Freeman forever, and loved him for a long time, then he said some stupid stuff, and made me think he was just another stupid lefty. This makes me think he has his head screwed on half-way right, at least. He'd be a GREAT person to come out, and publicly condemn the stupid stuff going on right now, in the name of race.
  10. Woah, please do not post such things on this site. PLEASE.
  11. Again, where is my "WOW" smiley/emoji/like/whatever-the-heck-you-call-em!
  12. Are you kidding? Have you heard Cruz speak/read his tweets? He's an outspoken voice, and rails against the media. I voted for him in the general, and as some others here have said, I abstained in the presidential election this last time. Trump will get my vote this time, and I'm hoping to have the opportunity to vote for Cruz again.
  13. But he was found not guilty. Now, it was on the Chewbacca defense, so I'm not sure if that still stands today. But, at least back then, he was found not guilty in criminal court. It's funny seeing people pretzel themselves about this stuff now.
  14. Again, I'm BEGGING for a "WOW!!!" 'like-button'. The others just don't capture the mood. Methinks they'll rue the day they chose woke, privilege-shaming over law and order (and the force that ensures that in general). But what would we call such a team? And how would we remember their phone number? And why are we just now thinking of this?!
  15. I feel like an A-hole, because, at the time, I actually didn't hate Romny. Now, I also recall, at the time, I was more a "Tea-party" conservative type, because I like the rule of law, and not seeing out our rights regarding international trade deal stuff screwed over. I get, now, that Mitt is a party guy, and didn't give a flying F about conservative principals. Sucks I was wrong at the time, or now, or both. Probably more wrong, then.
  16. Again, can we get a "WOW!" emoji? The other's just sometimes don't grab the sentiment. WOW is all one could possibly gather from this.
  17. We had these agitators bus'ed in to Tulsa as well. Walking down the middle of the street, without required permits to protest. I don't like having to have a permit to protest, but then again, it's a massive annoyance to have people meandering in the middle of the street, where someone could get hurt. Just stupid as sin! If you want to protest, go for it. But gather in one place where people can recognize what you're doing, and do so peacefully. Anything more, recognize that you're just making a nuisance of yourselves, and you do more harm than good.
  18. well then go to bed, ass-clown, no-one keeping you up.
  19. We REALLY need a "WOW" emoji for such things, as the stock ones available just don't capture the proper response!
  20. I'm a 'far rightie', and I was game for the shutdown until we got an idea what we were dealing with, and to give the hospitals, etc., time to make sure they were going to be able to handle any massive outbreak. Once we saw that the infrastructure was sufficient to handle things, area to area, I think we should have then treated this like we would the flu: stay home if you're sick and/or susceptible, and use increased hygiene precautions. I didn't and don't think a full shut-down of the country was necessary, especially after the first 2-3 weeks (and I'm fairly certain this will be shown to be the case). They should have had the young and healthy out and about doing their normal things a couple weeks ago at least, and keep the elderly and infirm at home, like they've forced on us all instead.
  21. We really, REALLY need a "wow!" emoji smiley-face thingy for posts just like this!
  22. I work for a regional utility in the corporate office - probably 500 employees in the office (another 3K+ in the field). We've been lobbying for more work-from-home opportunities, with much resistance. The reasons given were those you'd expect, from 'not feasible that the work could get done the same', to 'lack of accountability', to the argument that others within our own company could not do the same (the field employees). This is now beginning of week two of our work-from-home situation, and the good news is, the work is still getting done. I'm hoping this will further weaken the arguments against, and will provide proof that working from home in our office/industry is doable!
  23. And that's what he's doing - debating your negative take on the signing, and and this player's future with the Bills.
  24. Since I'm a HUGE SOONERS fan, I'll be pulling for the Renegades. It's kind of fun having a team to pull for that you're not as emotionally invested in, but can still make a weekend interesting football-wise.
