I like how people are using the fact that Peterman only played against 2nd and 3rd teams in two of those games. So did Allen! He still outperformed when facing the ones. Peterman won the battle. Do I think he’s the long term answer, no. But there’s no reason to rush Allen when he clearly needs to do some work.

Yeah, there was a qb battle and Peterman won. Plain and simple. Josh will get his turn, but Peterman earned the start. How would it look to give the nod to the guy that came in second?

Man, I get people having “their” guy, but I don’t get trashing the other two qbs and calling them rude names. Theyre still qbs on our team. They’re still kids in their 20’s. Like I said, I get you have a preference but the way you’re bashing these kids is kind of gross, imo. I think Peterman starts and I hope he performs well not just because he’s a kid trying his best for our team, and clearly won the battle, but also because if he does I hope some of you over-the-top bashers realize how ridiculous and petty you’re being.

Why not give him the opportunity? What do we really have to lose? You see us going to the super bowl? Allen will get his shot. Why rush it?

Meh... I’d prefer to let Peterman show what he’s got. Allen can use some time learning the pro game. That’s not a bad thing.

Peterman has my vote for now. The plan was always to let Allen progress at his own speed. I was willing to have Allen go game one if he clearly won the qb battle. Imo Peterman won. That’s not a knock on Allen I just think he could benefit from a little more time working/learning.

Oh stop. Everyone was super jazzed with the moves he made. Whether or not they work out isn’t really the point. That’s football. On paper they were excellent moves and we were happy with them. We lost our center and an all pro guard, we were bound to take a step back. It’s cliche, but it really is a process. We we have a bunch of money to spend in free agency next year, and all of our picks. We hopefully have the qb, and mlb of the future. That’s big. Really, ran off Sammy? He’s getting paid more that OBJ and is the worst performing reciever on that roster. Dareus is lazy, and Ragland didn’t fit in the system. Milano looked good last year and we took the best mlb available. lets not forget it looks like we have Kyles replacement as well.
