  1. This doesn’t seem realistic. All reports are that they won’t be paying a significant portion. I get why you’d want to do this for fun, but I could see this being vetoed.
  2. There’s always gotta be a wppete in the mock to bring things to a screeching halt.
  3. Hey, do me a quick favor and go get your SHINEBOX!! I want to see them shoes DAZZLE!! NUK!!!!
  4. Actually Davis is an average if not above average #2. Not many teams have a complimentary receiver like the Bengals and Dolphins. With that said would I love to add Nuk and get in that conversation with the Bengals and Dolphins? Yes, very much yes.
  5. Hey captain silly pants! Yeah, my friends and family used to call me BobbyPlausible, because of plausibility. roffelrofllolzickzork!! Now do me a favor, and… GO GET YOUR SHINEBOX!!
  6. Well, I’m in two camps here. I want to get some youngsters on a rookie salary, but I also know that where we pick we’re not going to have the best choices. Only way to get better picks would be packaging and losing some later picks anyhow. The other side of me wants our window to stay as viable this year as it was last year. If we could get a deal done with lesser picks, and have Hopkins and Diggs for the next season or two, I wouldn’t mind that. In fact, I’d say I’d be super excited about that. I’m good with deferring to Beane. I know he won’t sacrifice the future so if he thinks he can do it and keep the future looking bright. I’m in. It’s not an easy ask, and I know it’s not an easy task. But right now, players actually want to come here, so I don’t know that it’ll ever be easier for him to make these types of moves than right now. Idk… I’m a fan. I’ll keep fanning. I’ll let Beane do what he’s got to do. If he does something that makes it easier for me to fan, well, I’m okay with that.
  7. It’s pretty simple. Players were always willing to go there for dirt cheap contracts to try and win a Super Bowl with Brady. Those days are well past. And I couldn’t be happier about it.
  8. You guys really have to stop with the “this signing means we won’t sign this guy”rhetoric, Beane falls in love with players. If he has someone he likes, and it lines up, he’s taking that player, regardless of the roster. That’s how the draft should work anyhow.
  9. This is better for consumers that just want the games. You can subscribe for the season and then just cancel during the offseason. Much better than directv where you had hidden fees and couldn’t cancel, especially if you were still locked in a contract for upgrading your equipment.
  10. He needs to stay away from social media until he’s truly retired. I feel like he’s just trying to pick fights with Bills fans at this point. Unless he already knows he’s not coming back and wants to be a Jet.
  11. To be fair, not many teams have done all that much. The market is working out perfectly for us because we didn’t have the money to make big splashes. I’m thinking the Bills have some offers out and are hoping they choose us over making a little more money elsewhere like Harty. We can still get some key pieces at bargain prices. We just have to stick to our guns and let it all play out. Now if a feeding frenzy begins and players aren’t choosing us, then it gets a little worrisome because I know Beane will still try to sign 3rd and 4th options. Once he has a position in mind to fill, he usually sticks to that. Like a dog with a bone.
  12. Unfortunately I don’t think you can institutionalize someone for being a prick. He is, but he’s also a prick. Which I’m actually kinda into.
  13. Haha ZOMG Roffel ROFL lol! We’re good… now go get your shine box!
  14. I hate when players do this us vs. them with their own fanbase. It pisses me off. At least it’s not a current player. Let’s see Lee stand out in the cold and rain cheering every down. The I’ll listen to what he has to say about it. Did he play in the elements, sure, and he was getting paid handsomely to do it. We pay good money for that privilege. I think that should come with being able to have our own opinions about it.
  15. The Bills started out the season being third in qb pressures and looked excellent. Once Von went down, we were in the mid 20’s and our dbs were getting picked on. Like you stated we then looked mediocre. When Von went down, so did our SB bid.
  16. I didn’t see an insult in there. His post came off a tad aggressive but he’s kinda right. What are the guys options? He can either get on board and accept that things change with time, or he can find something else to do with that time. If he wants to plop himself In front of a tv and get entertained, it’s sports (all of which have become a bit of a spectacle) or new tv shows. I kinda think you guys are missing the point a bit. The NFL is huge, it’s only going to get bigger and more grandiose. You can either accept that and enjoy it for what it is, or just sit there hating every minute of it because it wasn’t what it once was. That’s your call, but if I felt that way I’d want to find something else to do with that time.
  17. I definitely don’t have all the same feels as I used to. I can still get amped for big games, though only Bills games. Last night was “meh” for me. But mostly because I didn’t care about either team. I feel like most of that is just getting older though. Things just kinda lose a little luster with time. Like Ally Sheedy said in the coming of age classic “when you grow up, your heart dies.” It’s a bit on the dramatic side, but comes with some truth. With that said, there are lots of things I loved as a kid that I couldn’t care less about now. If the NFL bugs you this much, maybe it’s one of those things for you. No shame in it. Just do something else for a while. Maybe you’ll come back to it when you can watch for the what it promises, which is entertainment. If it’s not entertaining you, find something that does.
  18. Nah… it’s even more obvious than that. It’s pretty simple, Von Miller was the missing piece. We needed a rush and before he was hurt we were like third in the league at qb pressures. We looked excellent. After the injury, we were in the mid 20’s and our db’s were getting picked on with the lack of rush. When he went down so did our SB hopes. It’s as easy as that. Now we’re going to lose a bunch of pieces and it’ll take a magical effort from Beane in the offseason to keep this train rolling. I know that simplification lacks the drama of “softer than custard” but it’s the truth. That “don’t blink” motto he brought to the team resonated with them. Once he was off the sidelines and field to remind them, they got caught blinking.
  19. I don’t know what everyone is expecting him to say? We all wanted him to push his chips and go all-in. He did that, his second ace fell off the table (Von) and we lost the hand. All he can say is we have to lie in the bed we made. We have Josh, Von comes back, we’re going to lose a few guys but we have our draft picks and we should still be able to make a few deals, though not blockbusters. That’s where we are. It’s not like everyone didn’t know this would be the issue if we didn’t win it all. I mean, unless you’re a n00b, you saw the writing on the wall. It’s certainly not the most enviable position, but it’s far from the worst. We have a franchise qb, and some good pieces. He’s 100% right. With Josh we’ll never be a bottomed out, draft top five team. We’ll have to be creative. Which Beane is, so, yeah, that’s where we are.
  20. Just happened to me in Pittsburgh last weekend. On a side note, why do the Bills always get crapped on for their stadium? Pittsburgh’s looks Grossville.
  21. I like Bill Burr and I liked it until he said we care about the Pats, but they dont care about us. It reminded me how much I dislike that some of our own fans think we had a rivalry with them. We didn’t, we were never good at the same time. The only real rivalry between the two teams were in some bills fans heads. They looked down on us for 20 years, and now it’s our turn to return the favor. Pats are yesterdays news, time to turn the page. If anything the only rivalry being renewed is with the Dolphins!
