I find that I hate this league most seasons. Why do we keep coming back for the possibility, when it’s often the inevitability that gets us?

So disgusted with the Bills for blowing that game. We’re living in a simulation with the Chiefs or Cheats in the Super Bowl glitch stuck on. Torture to us all.

What a f’n nightmare we are living in. Drake F’n Maye, Diggs, and Hollins all going to the SB before Josh. Just f’n lovely.

Now granted, I don’t know *****. And I was originally on the Kubiak train. That said, the more I learn about this dude, the more I’m open to taking the big swing. Don’t know if it’s just a Cleveland thing, but he’s rumored to have Schwartz be his DC. I’m all for that. Loved when Schwartz was here. Go big or go home.

Regardless of our need at HC, I will never…and I repeat NEVER…root for the cheats to win a damn thing. I cannot emphasize “never” enough.

Do you know that Babich was so good this year that McD constantly took play calling duties from him? The guy is a fine position coach, but he’s not ready to be a DC. Especially without a defensive head coach to lean on or bail him out.

Solid base to work with as you said, but we need to inject more size, speed, and athleticism into the defense. I’d love to add a couple of bigger DTs and say good bye to some of the guys that have been here for the last few years. No more Shaq Lawson, Dane Jackson, Jordan Phillips on speed dial. Get younger.

I’ve heard this coordinator and assistants point brought up a few times as a reason to maybe not wait to talk to these other candidates. Jerry O. from the Bills Squad Show and former Bill mentioned this may be a bit overblown, especially if they go with an offensive HC as expected. His reasoning is that the HC is likely going to want to call his own plays on offense, so your OC is basically covered. Sure, getting the right DC in place will be critical if we go with one of these young cats on offense, but it may be “easier” to find that guy. I’m not discounting the risk of waiting as you point out, but Josh Allen gives us a little more of a cushion in that regard in my mind. It’s far more important to me that you talk to all who you can to get this right. Who knows, maybe Udinski blows them away and they are good to move forward before talking to any of the coaches from this weekend, but I have to think they’ll at least wait to talk to people they are interested in who are on the losing end of coaching this weekend.
