  1. Hopefully that gets bass back on track and feeling it again.
  2. Good news is Josh is getting great protection from the line.
  3. As soon as they put that graphic up I knew he’d miss.
  4. Stroud is a problem. Dude just looks comfortable.
  5. Re: Haack - Really glad Martin is available, but like others have said…no punting. Score every time we touch the ball. All gas no breaks!
  6. As bad as it looked on Monday, he looks to be moving around pretty good. We are down to one armed Dodson, Klein, and Williams, so hoping it’s a pain management thing and he can go.
  7. I’m guilty of making a bigger deal about stuff like this. ***** talk is part of the sport (which I love if it’s not my fav team), but you just know that’s all we hear after the game if the Chiefs come out on top “Good Luck”.
  8. Exactly what I do. Great game up until that point. Was only a matter of time, but PFT couldn’t wait to pick it up too. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/dion-dawkins-patrick-mahomes-has-never-been-here-with-fans-so-good-luck
  9. I get the excitement of the home game and all, but really wish Dion could show some restraint here. Like it or not, they are the defending champs. Don’t poke the bear unless you’re damn ready to back it up. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39338809/bills-eager-play-playoff-home-game-vs-chiefs
  10. Agreed. Why they make him look like the Hefty Lefty?
  11. Love this! Personally, my favorite Bill of all time. What a beast.
  12. Thanks. Another guy I considered was Joe Doyle, but, while he is young with upside, he’s coming in even below Araiza for me if they wanted to go the ”young guy” route (which clearly they didn’t). Doyle is a complete unknown. At least with Araiza there is some familiarity since he was drafted here, been through an offseason working with Bass, and he won the job in camp before his release.
  13. Edit: Though, I do agree with you but this is a sensitive subject ‘round here. Guy is a total delta bravo with his constant schtick.
  14. Good question. Obviously, pickings are slim this time of year, but I may have considered Andy Lee or a recently retired Brett Kern. Both are old and washed, but have far more bonafides than Haack. If all we are concerned with is holding they should be more than capable, while also offering a slightly better upside in the actual punting department. Either are someone we can trust with big game experience. If we were looking for a slightly younger guy who has experience kicking in other cold markets like GB or CHI, maybe consider Pat O’Donnell. Probably not a helluva lot better than Haack, but, hell, we already have seen Haack kick here with mixed results. If you’re looking for the wild card, then, as others have suggested, you could bring back Araiza. While there is tremendous potential there, I understand why they didn’t go this direction. They know him, but it’s been a while and not the best timing to get him reacclimated. More of an offseason consideration than now. I’m not saying any of the above are ace ideas. Not many of those in January, but I was happy to move on from Haack the first time. I’m hoping Martin is active as best case. Again, I’m like you said in a previous post - hopefully we never punt in this game because we are scoring regularly. In which case, Haack’s holding skills will be on full display and clearly the safest route. In the event he’s punting deep in our end, I’m concerned with a block or duck leading to easy points, both of which he’s had concerns with in the past.
