Forgive my ignorance, but what is Kalshi and what do they know about any of these guys chances? Genuine question. Is it just who the internet thinks?

Not to mention the immense and immediate pressure he’d be under here. Some guys aren’t up for that. As intense and competitive as they may be.

Only way I wouldn’t mind Daboll is as OC with Webb as the HC. Otherwise, I’d rather go in a new, fresh direction.

When has this been a thing? Did I miss it where Allen isn’t constantly held to a higher standard and judged differently and recklessly his entire career? I know Orlovsky has been called out lately over a supposed Josh Allen bias, but that’s just ridiculous.

Not surprising and the reason he’s gone. McD’s defense was always solid to great in the regular season, but wilted on the big stage. The defense would come through occasionally (e.g., Taron pick six against the ravens, Bishop pick against the Jags, Hyde pick against the cheats), but I never felt comfortable with any lead in the playoffs if it was left to the defense. I expected them to fail. And that can’t happen. Especially if you employ a HC where defense is your specialty. McD was wound so tight, that was often reflected in how his defense performed.

I get the Cardinals. Though there is virtually no pressure there, ownership is a joke. Raiders are intriguing. Mark Davis is also a joke, but Brady is there. Number 1 pick and cap space. He’d also finally get his coveted pass rusher in Crosby. McD would bring instant credibility to that org.

If it is Udinski or Webb, who are some realistic DC candidates? Neither likely has an extensive network of candidates (probably Webb does more than Udinski). I’d love Schwartz as DC, but probably not leaving Cleveland.

If it’s not Scheelhaase in CLE, it’ll have to be Schwartz. Which sucks since I was hoping for a reunion. He’s the only one who wants that job. Maybe Monken. Meanwhile, how about the cardinals? Deathly silent.

Anyone else not really in love with the Davis Webb idea? I don’t know why, but I just don’t love it. Maybe it’s because he and Josh are so tight.
