Man…too bad the ravens snagged JPP earlier this year.

What a kick in the balls. Like last year with Tre, one of the few guys on the team we couldn’t afford to lose. And we lose him same day. He was supposed to be our closer. Season has been awful from an injury perspective.

True. Coaches have to come from somewhere. Daboll was always going to get the benefit of the doubt for Josh’s success (which I think is a bit overhyped). Yes, Aaron Rodgers was back to back MVP, but how much credit of that is truly attributable to Hackett? Answer - same with Daboll, we’ll never know. Daboll seemed to have a command to him that I’ve never seen Hackett have. Likely crafted from years of apprenticing under coaches like Belichick, Saban, and McD (among others). Guys loved him, he learned from past mistakes and criticism, and he experienced a ton of success. Doesn’t mean he can replicate it, but he’s seen it. Hackett grew up in it with his pops, so I’m not suggesting he hasn’t learned it/worked at it. I’ve never got a head coach vibe from Hackett whenever I heard him speak or when he was calling plays for us. He has always been high energy. Like a teenager snorting pixy stix. You’ve got to have a certain way about you to be a successful HC. Hackett doesn’t have “it”.

Hackett was always going to be a disaster. Broncos brass should’ve vetted him over here with us at TBD. Coulda saved them all a lot of trouble.

Guess we’ll see what’s most important to him. He wants to come and focus on ball and only ball, then this is a great spot. He wants all the glitz and glam with the side show, then enjoy Dallas. I’d love to have him, but I wont be devastated if he chooses them.

Love it! Ordinarily, I really like this duo, but Romo was a little too pro-Lions on Thanksgiving for me (i.e., giddy by the thought of an upset). Seems like all he could focus on for the Bills was Josh’s elbow. Hoping he has a stronger showing this time out.

I was wondering if I was the only one who didn’t get the big hat craze. Cool story about how they started the company, went on Shark Tank, and now are experiencing some success. But every time I see those damn things, I think to myself “who would want one of those?” Guess I’m getting old or something, because I don’t get it.
