  1. My gut is telling me both teams stop the run. I think Fournette and McCoy both get shutdown, it turns into a chess match between Bortles and Tyrod. Just my gut feeling.
  2. Mason Rudolph in the 2nd round, move up to 33-34 and take him there or potentially trade one of our 1sts for an early 2nd and multiple draft picks. He is projected as a 2nd-3rd round pick, probably won't go in the 1st but it's possible he moves up after the Senior Bowl and Combine.
  3. Bradford, Smith and Keenum are all 18. Bridgewater I don't understand the fascination with, Tyrod > Bridgewater.
  4. Sure it does, team chemistry is important. Tyrod may not be an ideal starter but he is easily the top backups QB on the market, 12 is what he'll get minimum. Once again, include incentives so he can earn more, if he doesn't reach those incentives we don't pay him.
  5. If it doesn't happen again, we don't pay him. No risk to us at all. I don't think people realize how popular Tyrod is in the locker room.
  6. A bird in the hand is better than a bird in the bush. Taylor loves Buffalo and the players love him. I think he would love a heavily incentive based deal. Nobody would care if we paid him 18 if he was our starter and we make the playoffs again.
  7. That's why you give him a deal worth UP to 18 million but in reality only 8 of it is guaranteed. If we make the playoffs again, if he starts 75% of our games, if he passes a certain amount of TDs, etc. I'd essentially give Tyrod a prove it deal.
  8. That's about how much top backups make.
  9. I don't remember Taylor mentioning race, did he? I remember Richard Sherman saying that, not Taylor.
  10. Heavily incentive based though. Like he can earn up to 18 if we make the playoffs.
  11. I'd offer him 2yrs/24 million. I think that's what he's worth.
  12. He is a top 3 lock, buy low, sell high. Going back to school could lose him a lot of money and OTOH I don't think he is ready for the NFL, he needs to sit for a year but he has a higher ceiling than Rosen.
  13. I've been a Dalton fan since his TCU days, he is a lot better than given credit for, I'd take him in a NY second.
  14. Yeah, okay. How many yards on the ground did our defense give up? We couldn't stop a nose bleed and don't forget, Tyrod did not have Woods, Watkins, Glenn, Gilislee, Benjamin and Matthews missed a bunch of time, Tyrod had nothing.
  15. And we could have easily been a legit 10-6 had Peterman never started.
  16. I'd take Rudolph in the first but his stock is all over the place, I've seen anywhere from the 1st all the way to the 4th. I mean, I love the guy but if he can be had in the 2nd, even better.
  17. It's pretty obvious why everybody loves Vita Vea, you hear his name around here a lot and deservedly so. I'd love him.
  18. Mason Rudolph in the 2nd, if he's gone draft Lamar Jackson. Use both our 1#s on BPA.
  19. A contract with lots of incentives and contingencies.
  20. FWIW, Walter has Mason Rudolph as a 3-4 round prospect, I wouldn't mind burning a 2nd on him. Use both our firsts on BPA. I'm still high on Rudolph, I just have no idea where he'll go, he is a polarizing prospect. One site says 1-2, the other says 3-4. Who knows? I'd really like him and I'd be lying if I said Lamar Jackson doesn't intrigue me, I covet QBs who can turn broken plays into 20 yard scrambles. We'll see.
  21. I have a sinking feeling that we select Lamar Jackson. Allen, Mayfield, Darnold, Rosen, Rudolph gone. I could definitely see it happening.
  22. I hope with our pick we'll be picking 32.
  23. McD has the entire city of Buffalo behind him. If we go on to beat the Jags, we are a legit team. How long does Brady and Belichick have? The division is wide open and we got a talented coach, FO and an owner that is committed to winning. The division is wide open.
