  1. Never was a Peters fan. Super athletic, great talent, gave up a ton of sacks some years and took plays off. I'd go with Moulds also but on the current team with Diggs and Davis there are other spots I'd rather fill. I might take Nate Clements for his mix of coverage and run support in a zone heavy defense. Maybe put big Pat Williams in the middle of the line. I'm going to go out on a limb since guard is a spot we could use help and say I'd take Incognito if he played like he did the first couple of years we signed him. The guy was a monster. Really hoping Saffold, Elam, and hopefully Settle or Phillips nail down those different positions.
  2. Cooper Kupp ran what a 4.6 something and literally carried the Rams offense to a SB win. People complain about speed with Motor yet who shows up on fastest carry of the week(mph) other than McKenzie, it's Motor. People make far too big a deal about 40 times. For every 10 receivers with a great 40 time I can show you 9 busts.
  3. Considering we play safeties over the top all day let him play tight and ball hawk and if a speedy one gets by there's hyde or poyer to clean up.
  4. Let's face it given the problems we had last year if this guy was a great punt returner he could make the team but he shows all the signs of being a great receiver also.
  5. He is 6'1" maybe they think he can fill out a little more?
  6. If they aren't picking a LB here to replace Edmunds they might as well have tried to get Dean to fill in for Milano or be the 3rd LB when we go out of nickel or dime. I wouldn't take Dean to replace Edmunds but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have tried to take him if I was planning on taking a LB in the 3rd.
  7. What are they going to do about the fact that he's under 6 feet and under 230. For us I just don't see any LB that size coming in and doing more than what Edmunds does. He'd basically be a better tackling shorter Milano.
  8. Is it time to get younger at safety? A bunch of safeties ran 4.3s in the combine. Any of them make sense in the 3rd?
  9. Isn't he smaller than some safeties?
  10. Who was picked between 25 an now that we should have taken?
  11. From whats left I'd like to see Robinson (a big back), Wooden at CB, or Jones from UConn but I don't see him still being there. We don't need Jones but i like his size and ability. Wooden is a really big corner with great speed, but all that said with the clamoring for a RB I'd love to see us draft a big back to compliment Motor.
  12. Unless McCreary has grown 3 inches since being at Auburn he's 5'11". If I had a choice between McCreary and Gordon I'd take Gordon but I'm of the idea that a CB in rd 1 is good idea.
  13. I don't think the front 4 takes as long to gel as mixing and matching guys in the secondary. I bet we will see a much more disruptive front seven right out of the gate. Maybe someone will pop a run on us from a mistake on a run fit but overall i can't picture this group not playing in the backfield way more than they have the past two seasons.
  14. Checking espn all day hoping for chandler jones or a legit pass rush superstar. Go to the gym for a couple hours come home and boom ....... Von Miller! All we needed last year was one guy who could put a QB on his back and even without that statistically we had the best defense in the leaugue. This next season will all be on the coaches. The talent will be there. All that cliche stuff. One game at a time, do your job, but make no mistake we have the talent.
  15. So in 18 games he had 2 less sacks than our best pass rusher had 17.
  16. From what I've watched Settle can play 5 if he needed to. I'd love to see a big 4 of Lawson, Jones, Oliver, and Settle. We could definitely mix and match. Seems like a pretty versatile group and finally some interior line guys that can really be disruptive. No offense to Harry but he got out muscled a lot. I can see this years group having more power to it.
  17. He can McKissic my butt.
  18. People always talk about "just throw it" Tyrod but fail to recognize that when Taylor had Woods, Watkins, and Hogan he was top ten in a bunch of metrics. The "afraid to throw it Tyrod" that they are talking about was throwing to Deonte Thompson, Zay Jones, Jordan Mathews, and Kelvin Benjamin (post injury). I can see why he didn't have a ton of faith in just throwing it up at that point. I'll fully admit the guys ceiling isn't super star like Allen or Rogers but if you put a few weapons around him he can lead an offense. They didn't do Taylor any favors after his first season and it only got worse with Dennison. I've never understood the Taylor hate. He would have had us in the playoffs years earlier if Rex had been able to coach defense. Much like Fitz (who everyone loves) he has limitations but the guy can win some football games in the right situation.
  19. If we actually sign one true run stuffer to match with Oliver we will forget about Phillips by week 2. No offense Harry. Enjoy your cash.
  20. Just for fun I was looking at nexgen stats and McKenzie made top mph plays 5 times. You'd never guess who was next with 2 times on the top mph list ............. the rb who's "painfully slow".
  21. Robert Foster was my favorite receiver. When all we had was Benjamin, Zay, and Pryor.
  22. It means that we play a 4-3 where Jones might be a rush end but we've previously adapted to rush LB's like Alexander who started his career actually at DT and ended up here as a LB. We can "scheme" for Jones talents and that is what he said he was looking for.
  23. The guy has more forced fumbles than Hughes does sacks the last 3 seasons and he was injured more than half a season.
