Pegulas selling 25% of the Bills, per Tim Graham
buffblue replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was the previous lease lol. Notice how it says 10 years? The new lease is for 30. It does contain a decreasing out as time goes on, but it's not remotely possible for at least 15 or so years. -

He's a bit...old (81) Also, I don't believe he has nearly enough bank. Pretty sure his net worth is something like 150 million. -
Von Miller IG story about Beane trading up for a WR
buffblue replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe he's become best friends with Beane after voluntarily taking that pay cut 😂 -
Except in 2019. He was probably my favorite player on that relatively nondescript team.

I didn't realize Jason Whitlock was still a thing. For anyone who hasn't followed his career, he makes a living off of taking contrarian points of view. He doesn't actually believe in anything he writes, he's just in it for clicks. Been like that for a long time. In this case, he's probably right.

He never was imo. I have zero confidence that he can make a big kick and his nickname was definitely not earned like Hauschka. Even Rian Lindell felt more trustworthy. Bass should be on the hot seat to begin the year.

In hindsight, should we have traded for Diontae Johnson?
buffblue replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah. Every team needs a guy who is a malcontent, drops a ton of passes, and manages to score zero touchdowns in a 20 game span -
Media coverage of Diggs trade before and after
buffblue replied to BarleyNY's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was coming here to post exactly this -
This one is baffling
-
Have you looked at the key pieces they are counting on? Two aging tackles (one of whom hasn't played close to a full season in 9 years!) protecting a 40 year old QB coming off a torn Achilles. What could go wrong?
-
You may be right, but let's give it some time. There is a lot of offseason to go. I'll make my judgment in August
-
FIFY. And I still see the Bills as favorites in the East this year because quite frankly, our division could be pretty bad. I think 10 wins might take it this year. The Jets are the only threat (last year it was Miami), and it is highly unlikely they will stay healthy.
-
Interesting calling people homers when Diggs is basically in your user name. Maybe it is a negative for this year (maybe), but it is undoubtedly a positive for the future. You can't sit here and say that having Diggs on that contract for 4 more years would be a good thing. Did Beane screw up in giving that extension? Yes, and now he's taking his medicine.

I can potentially get on board with this. No matter what, I won't quite know how to feel until the summer
-
We were at a 27-28 million hit before the trade. Now it's 31 million. So only a few million additional cap hit was added. It's just all dead now
-
If all we're eating is an additional 4 million cap hit this year to get free next year, I'm not horribly upset by this. Need to see what comes next
-
They don't scare me in the least. If they had a better coaching staff perhaps, but that team is a clown show. But hey, it seems they are shaping up as the offseason champions again
-
Don't they still have Saleh, Hackett, a declining 40 year old qb coming off an Achilles injury, and an Oline that will be on IR by week 6?
-
What are your thoughts on the Steelers QB situation?
buffblue replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn't want Russell Wilson on my roster in any way, no matter how cheap. The Fields deal similarly has little financial or compensation risk but at least he has some upside. This x 1000 percent -
We're doomed
-
Best of luck to him. He really killed us a couple of times as a Patriot
