Watching the Orange Bowl...Haissie DuBois, WR from Virginia, amazing hands. Apparently doesn't drop the ball. Also like Perine, RB from Florida Gators.

Week 17: NJ Jets at Buffalo Bills PostGame

I agree to an extent but there's no rhyme nor reason to it. I can't fault McD for not wanting to risk losing a challenge and a time out. -

He was ready to, but coaches have been burned all year on obvious PI calls not being overturned on review. -
When you think about it, a lot of Foster's big plays last year came on broken plays, when Josh would scramble and then heave the ball up. Very much like Big Ben in Pittsburgh. It explains why so many Pitt receivers turn ordinary when they go to other teams. The Bill's and Allen aren't playing street ball anymore. Explains why Foster couldn't crack the starting lineup at Alabama. Likely not a good route runner.

Around the League: Week 17

We played soft on D last week. NE thought they found their offense. False sense of security so they got surprised by Miami. -

Now we root for Tennessee. I think they could beat the Pats! -
CFP Semifinal- Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State vs Clemson 8:15pm

Sure was. The only snoozer was Oklahoma vs LSU. OK was so overmatched. -
Burrows is good, but Oklahoma has no defense. No pressure whatsoever and the WRs had no defenders within 8 yards.

CFP Semifinal - Peach Bowl: LSU vs Oklahoma 4pm

Early in the season, it looked like OK was going to have a decent defense. What happened? -

I guess I disagree with the OSU homer crowd. I thought that was definitely roughing the passer. The analyst said that it didn't matter that the QB dipped his head. Had they not called that, with Lawrence going down, Young didn't need to almost rip his head off. The flag was deserved. OSU should have been up by a lot more, shooting themselves in the foot with dropped passes. -
Note that 3 of the top 4 teams are in the AFC East. The Pats make everyone else miserable!

Houston would be a juicy matchup for us in 1st round...
jkeerie replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So far there pattern has been...lose one, win two, lose one, win two...that would put them on a trajectory to win at Tampa and lose to the Titans. They'd be due for a win, then. Let's hope we can break that pattern. -
My sincere sympathies at your loss, Clem. It's always hard to say goodbye to family, especially our parents. I lost my Dad in 2006 and my Mom in January of 2018. You'll have the memories and you'll cry every now and then until you just don't feel like crying anymore. Instead you'll be surprised by a smile and a warm feeling that suddenly comes over you. God Bless you and your family.

I forgot about this. Thank you for reminding me of that rule. However...I think Houston would have been so out of sorts, it would have been Brady and Edelman again for the TD.
-
How many of us had our hearts in our throats with that onside kick? First off Houston goes into that soft prevent D and Brady and Edelman play catch down the field to score and pull within 6. Then the onside kick. Had that ball not gone out of bounds and been picked up cleanly by the Pats, that guy had clear sailing to the endzone. Just goes to show you, run the prevent D at your own risk.

Josh Allen: How season changes after NE game

In that game, all the INTs were throws to Zay Jones. I think being able to throw to more reliable receivers has helped as well. -
Perhaps afterward. He was going on about how he wants Dallas fans to feel pain. He downplayed pain this week in favor of around Christmas. Thanksgiving pain, in his estimation, can be mollified with a good meal.
