He does well on the long ones. He needs to work on the shorter ones to pin teams deep. And obviously the holding for kicks has been a big issue. But I'm not too worried about him punting, which is nice.

Dolphins name Tua Tagovailoa starting QB going forward

Is Miami a good team suddenly? Raiders and Patriots are better than them. -

With Lock back they won't beat the Broncos, likely. And the Bengals have been playing teams tough. That's kit a gimmee. No way they go 2-2 against the Chiefs, Patriots, Raiders, and Bills. Maybe they get 1 of those. Likely none. 7 wins for them. -
Well yeah, but it was a different game. Not just because defenders could actually play, but because things like the spread offense were less used. QB's were expected to take a deep drop back almost every time and push the ball down the field. The quick passing game was not yet as prevalent. The screen game wasn't as big. All those things that pad the stats, including completion percentage.

It was a fine strategy. This was one of the best offenses in football. The Bills offense needed to score more points, plain and simple. It was a bend but don't break strategy. They let Mahomes get too many yards on the ground. They didn't get enough pressure on him. Other than that, I'm fine with the defensive approach, and honestly the results, too. The offense has to be able to do more. Dropped passes, missed passes by Allen, poor run blocking, and then Allen sealed the defeat with his late turnover. People can blame the defense if they want, but I think it's unrealistic to hold such a high powered offense to below what we held them to. The Chiefs are going to get their yards and points.

Trent Murphy and Harrison Phillips benched for Chiefs game

Different positions. I don't think that's the case at all. But let's hope they are back. -

Harrison Phillips is 6'3" and 306 pounds. I don't think he is undersized. Anyway, stopping the run is not the important thing this game. Getting pressure on Mahomes is. That's likely why Phillips is inactive. And Murphy isn't really that good regardless -

Well no, he actually WAS playing pretty good last year before the injury. Not sure I would say great, though. But if he isn't playing well right NOW, that's the most important thing. You have to do what you need to win games. -

Yay. More Epenesa today. I'm excited to see what he can do -
Did Kim Jones of NFLN question our DL's manhood?
MJS replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that's an old school mentality. Aaron Donald is pretty soft spoken and cerebral. He just also happens to be a freak of nature that can throw guys around. He isn't a "nasty" football player at all. Just get the job done however necessary. If you need to get "nasty" to do it, fine, but don't bring penalties when you do it. -
Bills have addressed slippery turf issue
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
University of Phoenix Stadium (Cardinals) has retractable grass that can be cared for between games. Maybe something similar could happen for the Bills. Roll out the grass into a protected housing between games, then roll it back in for the game. -

I'm still working from home, so it's easy to put the game on while I'm "working". -

Kelce is the best pass catching TE in the league. There's no such thing as covering him. The Bills will likely give him a heavy dose of Milano (if he's ready to play) and probably some safety help. But nobody really shuts down Kelce. You just have to do your best to make sure he doesn't wreck everything. In fact, the Chiefs have a few players like that... -
I don't think those cheaters deserve their own thread.

The Texans are are 1 win team. But yeah, their win against Buffalo was nice.

Denver almost lost it for themselves. What was Lock thinking throwing it deep!? Glad the defense stopped them.

Patriots 2nd? In the AFC? You have problems.

Is Josh changing how college QBs are scouted?
MJS replied to Mr. WEO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He probably shouldn't change the way QB's are evaluated. If other teams are trying to find another Josh Allen, they will likely fail. Josh is unique. We may never see another prospect like him. -
Week 6 Chiefs at Bills predict the score.
MJS replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
28 to 24 Chiefs over Bills. -
That's what he tells himself for sure, but he isn't that good of a quarterback. That's his real problem.

Just put a picture of a duck bill and you'll be fine. But Bills Mafia is clearly, and always has been, Buffalo Bills related. -
Bills File Trademark application on BillsMafia
MJS replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They want to sell merchandise. There's nothing wrong with that. And they already own half of it. It's not like they are going to go sue people for using the term. They just want to sell some shirts. -
