  1. He wasn't showing much composure while throwing 4 INT's. I get it. He had a good half of football. He is a good QB. He has a bright future. All that is true. Watching that game, though, was more about the Chargers collapsing than Lawrence taking over the game. This is a recurring theme for the Chargers.
  2. You brought up the comparison to Josh Allen. It's a dumb comparison so you are getting called out for it. Nobody here is threatened by Trevor Lawrence potentially being a good QB. They are just making fun of a dumb comparison you made.
  3. I think it is MORE special when you don't suck for half a game.
  4. That's pretty aweosme. Is this the first time?
  5. I won't say much because this is a football forum and I think this thread is already going off the rails with too much religious talk. Prayer is interesting. You can pray all day and have perfect faith, but if what you are praying for does not align with God's will, it doesn't much matter. But I also believe some blessings/miracles are contingent upon us asking for them (such as through prayer). God sometimes wants us to ask, because that shows humility and faith. That's all. I'm sure this thread will be locked soon.
  6. There's plenty of room for others to have their own beliefs as well.
  7. I think it is really cool that Josh was impacted positively in a way that has made him reevaluate things and think differently about life, his beliefs, and existence in general. A lot of us go through life thinking we have all the answers. Sometimes things happen that show us we don't. Sometimes we receive evidence that there is something more out there than we would have supposed. It's a cool feeling when that happens. Good for him.
  8. Nice. Shows that Milano was truly a pro bowl snub.
  9. Why? If anything, we need a horrible win where the Bills look weak and exposed. Maybe our next opponent will underestimate us.
  10. - Butch Byrd (interceptions leader, 5 pro bowls, 3 all-pros) - Kyle Williams (6 pro bowls) - Rueben Brown (8 pro bowls) - Fred Smerlas (5 pro bowls, 1 all-pro)
  11. No point at all, even injury depth?
  12. This was 1993, not 1893. They knew all about concussions then. They just ignored it sometimes. It wasn't a lack of knowledge, it was a lack of caring. These days they force the players and coaches to take it more seriously.
  13. I agree. But the first round is where you get the elite traits guys. Honestly, drafting at the end of the first round like we do these days even puts a damper on that. I'm all about BPA, though, within reason. The draft is about filling the pipeline of talent now, not about finding instant impact starters. We have a great team and need to get talent to replace starters when they get old or move on in free agency.
  14. Going into a draft planning to draft only on one side of the ball is not smart. What if you get to your pick and there are no offensive players there worth the value? And what if you trade back and get to your next pick and it is the same? You have to follow your draft board. Besides, the Bills need depth on defense as well. Draft the best player available on your board.
  15. Really? What did she do or say that was so upsetting to you?
  16. Take the best player available within reason. But a 1st round offensive player would be a breath of fresh air for sure. Can't go defense 1st every draft, can we? (Outside of taking Josh Allen, obviously). Yeah, Shaq seems to thrive here. I'd re-sign him too, as long as he will be reasonably priced, which I imagine he will be.
  17. He's basically the only player who hasn't been abysmal at tackling this season. His missed tackle rate is actually good. I think we should keep him. He is a good player.
  18. I don't use the term, don't buy merchandise with it, etc. But I also do not care one bit if others like it and use it. It's not my cup of tea, but I can see why others like it.
  19. Yep. "Stop being happy people! You are not allowed to be happy!! Stop this at once!"
  20. Good name. I also look at Jakobi Meyers and think he could be a lot better in a real offense with a real QB throwing to him. He is also a free agent.
  21. He was seen as a #1 but not an elite, top 5 receiver in the league. He had two 1,000 yard seasons and was a deep threat for Minnesota. There was speculation that he could do more in a different offense and with a different QB, and that proved to be correct. Since coming to Buffalo he has been among the league leaders in yardage, has 2 seasons of 10+ TD's (he had zero in Minnesota), made the pro bowl all 3 years, and was first team all-pro once. His success in Buffalo has surpassed anyone's wildest dreams of what he could be. He was a good WR before coming here. Now he is top tier elite.
  22. I think it's a little too reckless, personally. Diggs was seen as a good receiver, a potential #1, before he got here. He hadn't made a pro bowl. Now he is seen as a truly elite #1 receiver. Find someone like the pre-Bills Diggs. Someone who clearly has potential, but hasn't realized it fully yet.
  23. The Bills can restructure to create a ton of cap space. Beane knows what he is doing.
  24. I don't think it will happen this year, but I predicted it will happen after next season, and I'm sticking by that.
  25. The league is lucky that it was these two coaches. Their response to the situation was perfect. I don't have a lot of confidence that many of the other coaches would have responded similarly.
