  1. Offense: Khalil Shakir Defense: Gregory Rousseau Dang, you beat me.
  2. Sure, but return teams also get called for holding a third of the time. There is also the risk of muffs and fumbles. Factoring all that in makes it seem riskier for the return team versus the kicking team.
  3. I'm a little surprised this happened now, but the oline now and in the future is looking really bright. We have good starters and a good pipeline of younger guys developing. It is awesome to not need to worry about oline, at least significantly, for the next few years at least. There are not many teams in the NFL who can say that. There are some TRASH olines out there.
  4. 5 yards might not seem like a lot, but average drive position is the highest predictor of points scored, so it really means a lot. Plus, return teams are pretty likely to get called for holding a good chunk of the time, which pushes them back 10 yards. I think good teams are going to find advantages on both sides of this new rule rather than just kicking it through the end zone every drive.
  5. I don't think it is wise to just concede the 30, personally. But we'll see how it goes.
  6. Oh gosh, the hand wringing around this rookie receiver is just embarrassing. Are we going to analyze every play he makes for the rest of his career? Honestly, I do not care. Yeah, I'd like to see him not be good because I don't want the Chiefs to have another good player, but that's about all.
  7. Don't forget Jordan Love. He had a great season last year. He has all the tools to become a great QB.
  8. I remember when some fans were saying that Jessica Pegula was just a rich girl pretending to be a pro tennis player. Glad she proved all the doubters wrong. Her rise to elite status has been pretty cool to watch.
  9. Nope. I think we were all sick of Tyrod by that point and didn't want another running QB with passing limitations. But, he's way better than Tyrod ever was.
  10. In theory, but I think it might be Dorian Williams's time to get exposed in coverage. I'm pretty nervous about him.
  11. Eli is borderline to me. He threw for over 50k yards. Won two superbowls. He was a four time pro bowler. I would prefer to keep him out of the HOF, mainly because of his win percentage and turnover percentage. I think he has a much better case than Lamar Jackson. Jackson has no post season success. His first MVP year was legitimate. He had a great season. I'm not taking anything away from him there. He has been a good regular season QB, despite his limitations, and has benefited from elite defensive play his entire career so far.
  12. Same. I think he is a good QB and deserves some praise. He seems like a good dude. I like his demeanor. I just wish there was honesty about his limitations in the media. I mean, Josh Allen gets FAR, FAR more criticism and Jackson is nowhere near the level of elite QB that he is.
  13. That game was a joke, and the announcers did nothing but praise Lamar Jackson all night long. Jackson continues to be what he is: a gifted runner and a limited passer. And they are going to induct him into the hall of fame. Just watch.
  14. I'm not stressing with Worthy. Maybe he will be good. Maybe not. Whatever. Some fans are too focused on that.
  15. I'm not too shaken up about it. Watching either of those teams lose is good football in my book.
  16. Mahomes made some nice throws, though. Maybe he didn't fill up the stat line, but he makes plays every game that solidify the reality of his elite status.
  17. Dump off or scramble with the occasional lob into coverage. That's Lamar Jackson. I like how Collinsworth said he has always been a pocket passer. Like, what? Lamar Jackson is SO jittery in the pocket, can't make throws from the pocket, and is constantly looking to bail the pocket.
  18. Who is happy besides KC fans?
  19. They aren't following simple rules.
  20. Vick could only do two things: run the ball and throw it deep. Lamar is way better.
  21. I see a concussion in his future.
  22. Dang, what a play design. Pacheco with the sprint out just as eye candy and Worthy is wide open.
  23. Mahomes with the flop.
