2021 Bills ST coach Heath Farwell joins the Jags
BuffaloBillyG replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wish we could have grabbed Rich Bisaccia. He already signed with the Packers. -
Here's the thing in that. All those young guys that we had 4-5 years ago...are the vets now. At some point soon the need to sign guys for leadership ends and the players you have are the vets. Dawson Knox wasn't given a babysitter last year. You could, I suppose make any argument that Breida was a vet...but the RB room is younger. Allen may not have been oldest but was the "vet leader" in the QB room. Guys like Harry and Ed learned from these vets and now it's time for them to step into leadership roles and full the pipeline with younger players.

He's Officially "Saint Doug" Once Again
BuffaloBillyG replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
You forgot that he even stabbed his buddy Nate Hackett in the back and fired him (after Hackett reportedly helped get him hired there as a member of Hackett's staff) and used him as a scapegoat to buy 1 more year. Not shocked at ALL Nate didn't bring him to Denver. -
Marrone continues to find employment. Wonder if he plans to undercut Dennis Allen and take the HC job like he did in Jacksonville?

Agree. There are a LOT of QB needy teams right now and more that could enter that arena very soon. Heck, the entire NFC South alone is in need. Washington, Pittsburgh, Denver, (Giants and Eagles are, but don't seem to want to admit it). Indy, possibly the Lions...that's 11 places off the top of my head. Bidding war would start at a 1 IMO.

Kyler Murray unfollows Cardinals on social media

Saying anything positive about any QB not named Josh Allen on these boards is a very dangerous game. Be it right or wrong😂 -
Kyler Murray unfollows Cardinals on social media
BuffaloBillyG replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Let me play Devil's Advocate here for a second. This year Murray had: 4300 yards and 29 TDs while missing 3 games. Last year: 4790 yards and 37 TDs Rookie year: 4266 yards and 24 TDs Allen's first 3 years he had: 2020- 4965 yards and 45 TDs 2019- 3599 yards and 29 TDs 2018- 2704 yards and 18 TDs (12 games) On these boards when trying to prove a point about Allen we include his rushing totals into an "all purpose" context quite frequently. Same can be done Murray. His 1 playoff game was a disaster. However, to back and watch Josh in the 2nd half of his 1st playoff game against the Texans. Not saying Murray is going to follow the same path and has the same room to grow as Allen, however statistically speaking they are in the same ballpark through similar points of their career. -
Man, every day it's something in today's NFL. An owner or coach being accused of some bad behavior. A player (or a few) being arrested. Getting harder and harder to support. If we didn't have Josh Allen and were finally a real contender I'm not sure I'd even watch anymore. Way too often NFL Network turns into the nightly news with stories of lawsuits and legal battles. Arrests. Scandal. COVID, Vaccination...It's Hard Copy now because of those that play in and run the NFL.

Saints promote Dennis Allen to HC
BuffaloBillyG replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
A lot gets said about that, however this time last year they were about $100M over, still had money to field a competitive team that almost made the playoffs and still were able to sign guys when they had injuries. They are pretty experienced at it. -
I hope Josh is left off the list completely. He'll go completely scortched Earth next year.

Those are some poverty ballots. Some fool really put Yannick Ngakoue on there. 😂

Texans expected to hire Lovie Smith for HC

If that isn't an ominous sign, I don't know what is. -
Mike McDaniel hired as HC by Miami

McDaniel's 1st call to Tua. For those that raised questions about interpersonal skills... -
Giants are hiring Don "Wink" Martindale as their DC
BuffaloBillyG replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup. They poached Mike Kafka from KC. IMO is a great hire. I had wanted him here if they weren't going with or had lost Dorsey. -

From what I have seen, that aspect is still in the air. However, if he makes it all go away from paying the 18 of 22 that are reported to be ready to settle...the stink will linger. If a team wants to make a move for him and invest what the Texans are reportedly asking it's a nightmare for the league and most importantly, it's sponsors. Right now the LAST thing the NFL needs is more national controversy. -

Provide a link to your findings. Please. Right now, you are the one telling everyone your opinion is rain when it really has a yellow hue to it. So prove it. Provide some evidence. -

People are still thinking Watson ever sees an NFL field again? Amazing. -
Brian Flores suing NFL, NY Giants, Dolphins, Broncos.
BuffaloBillyG replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here's the thing though. He didn't stand up for squat. Not really any "honor" in continuing to collect millions of dollars in salary for 2 years and only mentioning the possible bribe when he's ousted. I mentioned this in another thread. Change 1 thing...let's say the Dolphins picked Herbert over Tua. There would be an excellent chance they don't start 1-7, they actually make it to the playoffs and Flores, instead of being fired is being looked at for an extension. Do you think ANY of this sees the light of day in that scenario? Or do you think he continues to show a personal lack of integrity, stay with Miami and continue collecting his money? Let's also take into consideration that Flores was a member of the NE Patriot organization since 2004. Was there during a good number of their scandals. Let's just say that possibly integrity, honor and morals may not be something that are in his playbook. -
Saints promote Dennis Allen to HC

Did he make a statement about it? Because he did take the time to interview for the job. That would suggest he did want it🤷🏻♂️ -
How bad is it for Lesile Frazier?
BuffaloBillyG replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall
In house candidate that will be grateful for the job and likely be agreeable to whatever coaching additions (McCown, Pep Hamilton) that the Texans brass want him to add. Wouldn't shock me if they called Frazier at some point and he laughed at them and hung up. -

If this is what the towel boy is coming home to every night...I'd be one fluffy towel, Downey comfort, handing out fella any day of the week... -
Mike McDaniel hired as HC by Miami
BuffaloBillyG replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
And who are you that he needs to prove it to? Have you been looking on line for photos of his father? Have you been digging around? How about this, rather than him needing to prove anything to you....how about you prove he's not what he says? It's attitudes like this one that try to define what diversity should look like that make having rules about diversity a necessity. -

Check out the way they SPEND that money. Year after year we hear about the Dolphins and their cap space. Everyone panics when they sign a tin of players. Then they overspend on players that don't pan out, sometimes releasing them after 1 season and take the dead cap. Nothing they have done with their cap money over the years has me the least bit worried they will actually improve their teams with it as long as they have a buffoon of a GM writing the checks.
