Git er done? More like "Nah, he done". Sad, too because early on he really looked like he was going to be special. Injuries suck

Listening to Tomlin's presser it sounds like they are Co-Coordiniting. I'm sure Sullivan has a bit more weight being a former OC, but yeahhhh it sounds a lot like it's both of em

Simply put, if Josh Allen is back the Bills have a chance to win this game, even in Philadelphia.

Not that I know of. Spent a lot of time with the Giants though.

Going with the 2 coordinator role? I know it's happened before....can't remember anytime it's ended well.

They saw what happened last week with us and were like "yup, we need some of that". Long overdue, but watch the media...Tomlin will NOT be accused of using him as a scapegoat.

Cover 1 breakdown of the Joe Brady Offense
BuffaloBillyG replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
This post may be the most accurate and well worded breakdown I've seen. Very nice post. -
Best way to stop it is on 1st and 2nd down. Oversimplified, sure. But good defense on the first 2 downs stops any 3rd and short conversion.

I can see it now. Buffalo vs KC. AFCCG. Camera pans to Swift. She's in an Allen jersey. Travis cries. Chiefs lose. It was a set up all along. 8D chess.

Josh is effin back. He says so himself.

I think the Eagles win this one pretty convincingly. Something like 30-16.

24 Hour Later Thoughts... Even a DEEP Thought
BuffaloBillyG replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
I see a different path for Tre White. I don't think they cut him flat out. I believe if they see he's healthy and ready to play, they offer him a chance to stay with a pay cut. Very much like they did with Mitch Morse. I believe it works well as a guy his age coming off 2 major lower leg injuries isn't likely to draw a big payday on the open market. If he can return to being productive and with that lower salary I'm more than comfortable with him being CB2 with Rasul taking over CB1. Gives flexibility to finally convert Benford to safety to replace one of Poyer or Hyde. Have Jackson back to compete for 3rd boundary corner with a FA or rookie or heck...maybe the light FINALLY goes on for Elam. -
Breaking: Jets QB Zach Wilson being benched for Tim Boyle
BuffaloBillyG replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's showed some maturity this year as well. Remember last season he was benched right after telling the media he didn't feel it was his fault they were losing and he didn't let the defense down. This year, total turn around attitude wise. Has taken full blame after every loss. Yea, I get it skill wise it's not there for him. But he seems like a good kid. Hopefully the light goes on after the Jets release him and take the next high draft pick QB they ruin. -
Breaking: Jets QB Zach Wilson being benched for Tim Boyle
BuffaloBillyG replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree, have to do something. They basically did nothing though. They could have signed Wentz. True he's not great but it's a major step up from Wilson. Could have made a play for Dobbs, heck even Drew Lock.... SOMETHING. There is no way I can be convinced that starting Wilson was a decision made by someone above Saleh's bald shiny head. -
Hey, Tom. Thanks for the message. Why you choose to comment on a 16 hour old conversation that has nothing to do with you is beyond me. But hey, you do you.

Dalton Kincaid: Beane's best pick since Allen?
BuffaloBillyG replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
As he should being a WR and running deeper routes. Agree wholeheartedly. And Kincaid is often a hot route option where Davis isn't. So that's a bonus. Fair to say Davis also has 200 more snaps on the season. -
IMO, Floyd is the top priority for Beane to re-sign in the off-season. I'd put him and Jones as 1A/1B.

New Coordinator, New Haircut, Old Josh
BuffaloBillyG replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall
Perhaps you are correct. To your point I have to say we don't know what we aren't shown. However, his play was a lot more high energy than it has been to my eye. Times he was running upfield after a handoff looking to help. He was way more animated IMHO on the field. Maybe some of that was just having fun while executing and winning. He just played with a level of energy we haven't seen much this year...and it was great to have that back. -
Dalton Kincaid: Beane's best pick since Allen?
BuffaloBillyG replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fun fact about Kincaid this season. At 51 catches he already has more catches in a single season in 10 games than Gabe Davis has had in an entire season (his season high is 48 last year.) Also Kincaid had more catches just last night than Gabe has had over the last THREE games combined. -
New Coordinator, New Haircut, Old Josh
BuffaloBillyG replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall
So, was this Low Positive Josh something Dorsey brought out in him? Was he adjusting his personality to counter Dorsey's tendency to spin out of control? Josh maybe feel like he had to be the "adult in the room"? We likely will never know for sure. But it looks like Brady found the old Allen and got him to make a guest appearance this week for sure. Hopefully, not the last time we see him. -

Outlook on McDermott if we turn it around
BuffaloBillyG replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Championship Caliber. That's the standard that McDermott has preached for years. Not "Divisional Winners Caliber". Not "Playoff Caliber". McDermott set the standard. He's failed to meet his own benchmark. If anything, the way the offense looked last night gives me MORE reason to not like the way McDermott runs the team. Too many "promote from with ins" and not enough going outside the organization to get fresh perspective. The only reason Dorsey was on the staff in the first place was because McDermott had ties to him and Mike Shula already. Knowing someone and them being the best suited for the job are 2 different things. Brady came in from outside the circle. Yes from Carolina, but no ties to McDermott. Fresh set of eyes and fresh perspective. Looked to be a good answer last night. Even the most successful coach McDermott has hired to date (Daboll) came from outside McDermott's circle of trust. -
I was getting frustrated with those screens early as well, but doing those early ended up spreading the defense out a bit and letting Josh throw in the middle of the field. He feasted there last night. As far as the play calls themselves, I really liked his use of motion presnap. Not sure I've seen a game this year we've done that as much. All in all, Brady looked really good for a guy that hasn't called an offense in almost 2 years.
