  1. More likely? Almost absolutely not. It proves that it's possible, but if & only if your team also absolutely crushes it at the draft or player acquisition which not a lot of teams can say.
  2. I'm with you. He as entirely too many games that he looks absolutely awful. I know you can't take away the four game playoff stretch (should have been two games if Denver could just not give up a 70 yard TD)...but IF you could, then who is he?
  3. I think the bigger deal is the guaranteed money. If anything is potentially becoming a trend, that could be it. Premier players have been paid big contracts for years now...they make a lot more now but the increases are proportional. But compare Ryan and Cousins to McNabb's contract from the Redskins. It looked huge but was worthless in the long run. I think more guaranteed money will become a BIG deal going forward and could potentially result in another work stoppage. I for one am fine if that's the case (guaranteed money...not the work stoppage). Football players have their bodies wrecked more than other sports with less to show for it.
  4. I think the fact that Rodgers is a considerably better QB would lead him to make greater than or equal to Ryan.
  5. Some viral videos make Bills fans look a little crazy, but even some other cities in the US are terrifying to attend a game. I would never go to Oakland, SF or Philly for any sporting event.
  6. You're probably right and I think that's insane. To think that teams would ignore pretty bad game tape on a kid and potentially draft him high because he's big, fast and can throw like a cannon only to then drop him because of something he said IN HIGH SCHOOL just shows how stupid the league is when it comes to running a team and evaluating personnel.
  7. I saw "fill holes" and assumed that it was another post about Josh Allen's old tweets.
  8. A combo of Rodgers and Manning might be a little much but I'm otherwise with you. Really the only one that I don't want to end up with is Allen even though he seems like a solid kid with a howitzer for an arm but I can't understand not liking Rosen. He's almost universally regarded as the most NFL ready QB in the draft and I personally love his attitude. If he can stay healthy (I think he needs to bulk up a bit) I think he'll be the best of the entire class.
  9. Because we're the most passionate fans in the league! Couldn't agree more. I have been getting FA news on here faster (while still accurately) than anywhere else.
  10. Hear, hear! This draft seems loaded with talent but I think QB is actually pretty weak...from the standpoint that there really don't seem to be can't miss guys (I know that no one is really can't miss). If they trade up, I get it but I hope they stay put or even accumulate more picks.
  11. I don't often wish ill will on anyone, but hopefully while jumping he has a Bill Gramatica moment.
  12. Dang it, now I feel old! I usually hate sports cliches but one that I agree with at the QB position is "he's a winner". It's not just some magical quality...a QB ends up being a winner because he's accurate, can anticipate throws and can read a defense. There are obviously exceptions to that but I would absolutely prefer a "winner" like Mayfield or Jackson over Allen. I swear that he doesn't owe me money or anything, I just don't think he will do well in the league.
  13. Couldn't agree more except with the Bortles comparison. I'm not saying that I like Bortles very much but he put up fantastic college numbers, even against power conference teams. Of all of the QBs, he's the one that I hope the Bills stay away from. He's like the Mike Mamula of QBs to me. I read that he threw 66mph at the Senior Bowl. Okay cool...he also misses receivers as badly as anyone I have seen. The Ringer had a good write up about him that covers his deficiencies very thoroughly. I could be wrong and if the Bills take him then I obviously hope I'm wrong.
  14. Are you a troll or a moron? Serious question because I really can't tell.
  15. That makes sense to me. I just get the impression that otherwise die hard football fans aren't watching because it's the Pats and to me that's crazy.
  16. I am absolutely blown away by the number of "NFW!" responses. I get hating the Pats, but it's the freaking Super Bowl.
  17. Fun fact...Davis actually (well, he used to...not sure if he still does) used to drive 400 MILES to get that haircut...in his mini-van.
  18. I've read enough of your garbage in other threads to not waste too much time. "The Confederate States of America" really should be all that's needed for me or anyone else on here to know how seriously to take you.
