A really good read on Damien Harris
RoyBatty is alive replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane went out of his way earlier talking about Williams that he played some MLB in college but MLB calls the defensive assignments and will have a lot to learn a lot. It will come down to how smart and motivated Williams is, from what I know of him and heard him, he is smart and highly motivated. I wonder if Cosell's comments were accurate and if the Bills moved on from Tremaine and had targeted Williams as an heir apparent. If so, bills got very lucky in this draft with the top 3 picks. -

I clicked on that story and went to the "related video" with Greg Cosell had some very interesting comments on our new potential MLB Dorian Williams. He said he liked the tape on him and the pick. Mentioned we moved on from Tremaine Edmonds who was large and targeted a smaller quicker replacement as in Williams. Interesting, I wonder if that is all true and the was actually the Bill strategy of how it just worked out. -
Totally agree. Williams can be a game changer with his speed and anticipation. Tired of reading all the nagtivity about he was a reach, small school (I went to Tulane graduate school), too small, blah blah blah. The one game he will get crucified will be against NE, Belichek manages to make certain defensive positions as untenable, and that is what Belichek did against Tremaine Edmunds at MLB in one game, Edmunds was schemed into irrelevance. And by week 4 if Dodson isnt the whipping boy, it will be Dorsey for season #2.

Why would you tell us what the Bucs simulated record would be on a Bills message board, wouldn't the Bills simulated record be more appropriate here? What keeps fans interest in the NFL is the incredible parity, no other pro sport comes even close. And if you are really really bad, odds are high you can land a franchise QB in the next draft.

Serious question, are you already looking for "reasons" or scapegoats.? I have never seen a more successful 1st yr OC so demonized by his own fan base, like he was the target as soon as Dabol left.

Rodgers 'tweaks calf' at Jets OTA
RoyBatty is alive replied to BillsDad51's topic in The Stadium Wall
LOL, being an old NFL QB comes at a cost. I love to see the Jets blowhard Mike Greenburg whining about it this morning. -
WTH relevance is that? Is he guilty of something contracting a STD?

Dalton Kincaid's NFL Journey reminds me of Josh's.
RoyBatty is alive replied to The Jokeman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh was a great all around athlete but for years he was targeting football, Kincaid was a basketball player till his senior year of high school and went out for the football team. I really dont see much similarity in their respective journeys. I do think both are committed to their trade and think they will have great success together, both are smart and hard working. -
74 seconds of JA to help get you through the day

Thanks. Would have liked to see him throwing to Kincaid. -
We will always have the memory of his one punt as a Buffalo Bill, the 82 yard bomb. Havent keep up with his saga so in ignorance, I will go ahead and wish his a very long career with the Jests and hope he kicks his leg to death next few years.

Waste of time, I am joining Nextera, you are on ignore.

Forget about that but at least Donte had a pretty successful NFL career. Wasn't Donte's specialty the "back tackle" where he would turn his back to the runner and knock him down on the ground with his back? Maybin was one of our biggest busts (for a first rounder) of all time, somehow the clown HC Rex Ryan managed to get a few sacks out of Maybin with the Jets..
-
I am guilty of the same phenomenon but found the Aaron Maybin pick as the exception to the rule. This time I am really sold/sucked in on Kincaid
-
No pun intended I hope.

I thought new Era answered the question. You can take it two ways. 1) Do we as fans need to, no our excitations are totally irrelevant or 2) are they realistic expectations, which is likely your real sentiment. Probably not, any rookie performance is totally unpredictable.

TE position is rapidly evolving, the day of the Ditkas, Shockeys are long gone, they are rapidly morphing into TE/WRs so historical precedence, imo, is not relevant. Kincaid can have a huge impact as the TE/WR which in fact he will be.
-
Agree with Joe, guys to watch, Brown, Kaiir, Kincaid, Williams and our new guards. Going to be quite the battle in the WR category, we will get at least on WR poached of our practice squad this year.
-
I totally agree, given he is ready. I cant imagine they wouldn't moving u to pick him rd 1. I was against it initially but as i learned more about his hands, his length, route running, this could or should be a game changer offensively. And we MIGHT have competent guard play and a stable of RBs, the offense seemed to have "mature", at least in terms of potential.

Good to know you are not judgmental at all.

Happy Birthday Josh!

RD 3, Pick 91: LB Dorian Williams, Tulane
RoyBatty is alive replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was upset when we didnt re-sign Bacarri Rambo...what a great name for a safety. He had some great games for the Bills, one game he got two pick on Aaron Rodgers and another game he forced two fumbles one of which was retuned by OBD legend Duke Williams for a TD and another he recovered himself and sealed the victory with an int off of Ryan Fitzpatrick.
