  1. That's funny. I left Buffalo for Dallas in 95 and left Dallas for Vancouver in 06 and still attended some of the games you listed. I was at the 92 AFC Championship game and the Monday nighter in 07 against Dallas. The 92 AFC game against the Broncos wasn't as loud as some of the others I attended possibly because it was such a defensive back and forth grind of a game that it was hard to keep yelling until we finally scored the only TD of the game. The MNF in 07 was pretty loud. My personal favorite for volume was the game against Miami in 90 with Frank Reich starting in place of an injured Jim Kelly. We beat them 24-14 to win the AFC East. Everyone rushed the field and tore down the goal posts on the tunnel end. I even saw one of the uprights being heaved over the top of the visitors' side upper deck. Pure insanity! Nothing beats The Comeback against the Oilers in 93. Even after it was 35-3 early in the 3rd quarter and a lot of people left, that was the loudest I've ever heard that stadium.
  2. The Bills win the AFC East. The Jets finish 0-16.
  3. I know it's after the fact that he is gone but I have felt this way about him the whole time he was here. And that is, I'll never forget the look on his face when the Bills drafted him. Roger Goodell handed his Bills hat and someone handed him his jersey and he had this look on his face of 'Man....I don't wanna play for those guys.......'. I thought it was a bit of a strange reaction by someone who not only was drafted high in the first round but was also badly needed by the team. Apparently, my suspicions were correct as it reflected in his play. I interpreted it as more of a 'try to look good without hurting yourself and just play out your contract'. I hope he has many games on national TV so the rest of the country can see how he really is.
  4. You sound like you know what you're talking about. I think you should be a coach or GM and put that to good use.
  5. I WAS there! I was a DJ at Club Diamond Dust at the time (now called Buffalo Scores on Genesee & Transit) and went to the game with my dad, a dancer named Cheri, and her 10 yr old nephew. She went to the bathroom at halftime when it was 28-3 and my dad and I decided we would leave when she got back if the Oilers scored again before we did. After the pick 6 to start the second half, we said "That's it! We're outta here." but we had to wait until she returned. By the time she got back to her seat it was over halfway through the 3rd quarter and the score was something like 35-17 so we decided to keep staying. Glad we did, what an awesome game!
  6. Actually, if you're destined for something, then it has been predetermined. You have no control over something predetermined.
  7. I would be really surprised if we cut LeSean McCoy. The would shock a bowel movement outta me, for sure.
  8. Tell us how you really feel.
  9. Decker's wife is Jessie James. Ain't no way she is coming to Buffalo.
  10. I would've been fine either way. We could've used him but at the same time, I'd rather we stick to the plan of building a team that is always getting stronger in the future. Belichick reached on a few occasions for players that were 'great' but didn't pan out like Chad Johnson, Albert Haynesworth, etc.
  11. I'm thinking he wanted too much. With the way we've overpaid for players in the past, I'm fine with this. If he doesn't get the deal he's looking for in Baltimore and we sign him on our terms, even better.
  12. Aaron Maybin. How many playoff games have the Bills been to since he was cut? I rest my case. With all seriousness aside, I would say, in order of how that player would've affected the Bills had they still been here in chronological order, my take is the following: Cookie Gilchrist (1st Super Bowl was in reach), Fred Smerlas (Bills run defense would've been better in 1990).
  13. My feelings exactly. If he played for the Bills, I would love him. But he plays for hated N.E. and there are times when his doucheyness comes out in our stadium.
  14. And Taylor takes off running for the 1st down.
  15. The offense they should run, IMO, is one designed around your best players, period. Sammy, Shady, Clay, DiMarco, and Zay Jones. I think those guys stay on the field using the same alignment every snap, and every play called is a play action pass. The defense wouldn't know if it's run or pass because you're doing the same thing every single snap. Taylor fakes the handoff to DiMarco or Shady and either throws it to one of those five guys or runs it himself. If you were a defender and the offense lined up the same guys the same way every time and every play was play action, what would you do?
  16. I'm ending this once and for all. We used a 1st round pick to draft Sammy. We traded away a 1st and a 4th to move up in order to be able to draft him. In other words, 1st + 1st + 4th = two 1st(s) and a 4th. Ta da!
  17. I actually read somewhere that scientists in Australia found two new uses for sheep. Meat, and wool.
  18. All of these moves seem to have been done In The Heat Of The Night. Good job, Bills.
  19. Even if Karlos gets his act together and has managed to get back in shape and wasn't facing a suspension, there is still the concern of him being susceptible to concussions. Running backs are a dime a dozen, good ones are a dollar a dozen. I say, look forward, not back. Move on from Karlos.
