Apparently, Beane & Co. have their eye on one or more undisclosed players. Although he is content with staying put at the 9th spot and drafting the BPA, Brandon is willing to trade down if he feels the opportunity to improve the value of the new first selection is better than the value of what would have been the original selection. Now the target of either the original first selection or the new draft position, whichever it turns out to be, will be determined not only by the possible trade partner, but also, and this is critical: the order of the selections before the Bills' original selection at 9. Passing on Hock at 9 would be inconceivable! Knowing what we know now, would you have drafted any of these TEs in the first round?

We could take him at 9 and still find great value at 40 and 74 for OT and IDL.

I know we haven't played on Turkey day since 1994 but I'm sure most of you have your gameday routines (besides the obvious) while watching the other games on Thanksgiving. Not only are the Bills playing this Thanksgiving but it's also at detestable Dallas, my 2nd most hated team. I've been living up here in SW Washington state and usually go to a coworker's place down in Oregon for Thanksgiving where my family and his will make a brined and smoked (on a Traeger) turkey while I usually make a brined and fried turkey. Not this year. Because of the game this year, it's gonna be, turkey wings! I wonder if I should leave the carrots and celery whole, to match the size of the wings? ?
