  1. Maybe I’m in the minority but the defensive scheme the last 13 seconds is much worse than kicking the ball into the end zone especially with calling two timeouts and still screwing it up. If the ST coach is let go then the same criteria should apply to the DC.
  2. Slightly different twist but the Bills picks in the 2nd round since 2014 have struggled to make any impact which is concerning as typically there is still plenty of talent on the board. You have to get to 2013 before an impactful player. Hope Beane changes this trend this year. 2021: Basham 2020: AJE 2019: Ford 2018: No pick 2017: Zay Jones 2016: Reggie Ragland 2015: Ronald Darby 2014: Cyrus Kouandjio 2013: Robert Woods
  3. Unfortunately, we need an impactful disruptor on the DL. We have good players but not a true difference maker. Someone the O has to account for. We seldom see anyone on the DL dominate against a inferior OL consistently.
  4. As soon as Kelce scored in OT, I immediately turned off the TV and haven’t watched anything related to the NFL. With how the Bills lost and knowing the Super Bowl was there for the taking with playing the AFCC in Buffalo it just hurts too much. I’ll re-engage once FA starts.
  5. The current roster only has one player, McKenzie, that is ANY threat to outrun or take it to the house. While the WR group is strong YAC are low. Some of it could be due to the lack of crossing patterns the Bills ran this year. However, speed at RB and WR is lacking. Lastly, we finally have a QB that can throw the ball. We could “use” an infusion of speed on offense however, scoring hasn’t been our issue. We NEED a difference maker at DE, an impactful LB and another top CB. Offense needs a stronger IOL and a running back that is a better runner than our QB. IMO, I want Beane to be aggressive this offseason and get some difference makers. Make some deals, trade for some proven talent or FA’s and then supplement remaining lower needs in the draft. This is a huge offseason for the Bills if they want to hoist a SB trophy. Please don’t stand idle.
  6. The pain is still raw but I find myself reflecting back on the season and trying to look ahead. Josh Allen: What more can you say. The guy is just a flat out playmaker. Josh has done everything and then some from a franchise QB. Going into next season I hope this coaching staff takes some of the burden off of him as Josh has masked numerous shortcomings. The guy shouldn’t have to be perfect every game. Knox and Brown exceeded my expectations. Great to see Ed, Milano, Poyer and Hyde play at the level they did. Good or Average? My eyes tell me this team can play with ANYONE. However, when it mattered the most, this team fell short on every close game. (Pitt, Jags, TN, TB, NE and KC) Everyone of those losses had a common theme. FAILURE to adjust which lands squarely on the coaching staff. For all the the accolades the coaching staff has received, we beat one solid team (KC) early in the season. Sure we can debate NE, but I just don’t think they were that good. Otherwise we were 0-6 in one score games and the Bills had an easy schedule. So while our stats were good (D feasted against bad teams) our eyes told us this D was no where near the top ranked D. When it mattered the most time and time again, the D couldn’t deliver or Daboll struggled to adjust. The Bills are a really good team but they need playmakers on D. Outside of Trey, they are sorely lacking. There’s a reason none of the Bills players were recognized on D. Sure they are a solid unit but they lack a difference maker. Edmunds: The guy oozes with the physical skills, but time and time again fails to react or make an impactful play. I’m not sure what you do here but it’s an obvious question mark going into next season. Star, Hughes, Addison, Butler, Feliciano, Ford, Beasley are all major question marks on if they will be back. As we look ahead I expect this roster and coaching staff to dramatically change. I think Daboll is gone but I think Frazier has too many questions and last night hurt his stock on a number of fronts. Is Beane and McDermott satisfied with this D? Areas of need: DE, CB, OG, WR, RB, Backup QB Traits needed: Speed and Physicality Next year’s schedule should be stronger (TN, @ Rams, @KC, Cinncy, @Baltimore) GB included if AR returns. NE and Miami should be better. This is a huge offseason for Beane and McDermott. The narrative has changed, the playoffs are expected but can they get this team to the next level? Beane needs to be aggressive and make some difficult decisions. Late round draft picks aren’t making this roster so be aggressive in the draft and free agency. All things considered, it’s hard to give this coaching staff anything better than a C+ all things considered. I’ll remember this season as missed opportunities and failure to meet expectations. Sure winning the division and making the playoffs are good, but we all expected that at the minimum.
  7. Agree Carpe Diem! I expected we beat the Patriots as we were the far superior team. The Bills have been in the playoffs 4 out of the past 5 years. The KC game should be a dogfight but IMO the Bills have to find a way to win or it will be another offseason of questions. If you want to be considered elite go beat KC! The Bills can beat anyone if they play to their potential. LETS GO BUFFALO!
  8. Both of these teams are loaded and it’s most likely gonna come down to who executes the best. Bills have to account for the crowd noise as well. The front four has to create disruption. Not sure how anyone can confidently pick the winner of this game. KC vs Buff in the playoffs could be a yearly thing for the foreseeable future. With that said LETS GO BUFFALO! Just win baby!
  9. Besides the self inflicted penalties by Dallas and SF doing everything to let you back in the game, I’m stunned by Dallas’s 80/20 pass vs run ratio. With that said I’m not losing any sleep with Dallas and NE being eliminated!
  10. He knows what everyone else knows. Outside of a mini hurricane Buffalo has owned them now in two straight seasons. The prior luxury of the AFCE being in shambles outside of NE w Brady has changed. He now has to compete against an ALL PRO QB in the division. I respect him for everything he has accomplished but that press conference was sad. He basically said four things over and over.
  11. 4:53 in the morning and STILL can’t sleep in ATL. What a spectacular performance by the Bills. Hopeful this type of performance gives them the confidence and momentum to run the table! Competition is only going to get harder. 100% Steeler fan for tomorrow! LETS GO BUFFALO!
  12. Pretty much a bye week for KC playing the Steelers.
  13. That’s PI but the mugging by TB on Diggs wasn’t? Nothing to see here says the NFL! SMH
  14. I’d like to see the Bills play strong in all three phases against NYJ. Get off to a fast start, front four bringing pressure, keep good balance on offense, TD’s not FG’s in the redzone and put this game away early!
  15. The last 3:30 of the 2nd qtr can’t happen against good teams. Bills were in complete control then they get cute with attempting a WR pass and a horrible decision by Josh on 3rd and long that results in an interception. At the minimum you get no less than a short FG to go up 17-5. Plus you get the ball to start the 2nd half. Josh has to be mentally stronger in that situation. Points equal extending your lead and maintaining your momentum. Instead it pumped life into the Falcons. On Josh’s 3rd interception all the credit to ATL’s Walker who made a great play. Strong games by Devin, Oliver and the OLine showing improvement in the running game. Bills didn’t play great but still won by 14 on a meh day by Josh in the passing game. Now lets take care of business against NYJ and go into the playoffs with strong momentum!
  16. Agree. Felt like Daboll finally realized that in the red zone go with your strength! Josh rolling out or RPO, it puts so much pressure on the D. Defenses have to account for a handoff, or bring pressure on Josh and hope to contain him, or come up to stop him from running which ultimately frees up someone in the passing game. Still PO’d with his redzone playcalling against TN and the first game against NE.
  17. Miami playing D against NO like the Bills needed to do in the first NE game!
  18. With the news that the CDC, is shortening isolation period from 10 days to 5 days, does that potentially clear Gabe to play versus the Falcons? Assuming he has a negative test.
  19. Also hoping zero Covid cases for the Bills. I believe Gabe would be the only one that can’t play due to the protocols. Hopefully we get Cole, Feliciano, Ford and Star back. Hopefully everyone is healthy.
  20. Have watched this highlight multiple times now. Dawkins was doing some snow plowing! First on Judson but then getting up, sprinting down field and plowing another guy! The team and coaching staff is going to love watching this in film review. Hopeful this OL can start to find its groove as we go forward.
  21. Could see them restructuring Cole but would prefer having both weapons. Regarding the cap, have to believe Star, Hughes, Addison and Butler won’t be on the roster next year. Extend or resign, Diggs, Levi and Williams at OG. Adding a stud OG would help this OL greatly. Needs then are DT, CB, RB and depth at TE and OT. Go get your top FA and then be aggressive in the draft as there will only be few opportunities for rookies to compete for.
  22. Bills need to get off the blocks in the first quarter and not give ATL any hope. No slow starts! Just take care of business. Ryan is still a good QB and does have weapons (Pitts, Hurst, Patterson). Don’t let him just drop back. Have to bring pressure and make him move. ATL haven’t played at the Ralph since early 2000’s. As others have stated, if you don’t bring it every game, you can get beat by bad teams. Detroit over AZ, Jags over Bills, Tex over SD. Bills are in playoff mode since yesterday as there is no room for error. Take care of ATL and NYJ, secure the 3 seed and go into the playoffs with momentum. LETS GO BUFFALO!
  23. First the Bills need to take care of business versus ATL and NYJ. Feels like nothing has been easy for this team this year. No room for error! Secondly, whether it’s Indy or NE, the Bills have to shut down the running game and the Bills offense can’t settle for FG’s. The offense seems to be trending up, but IMO the D worries me. They consistently struggle getting pressure with the front four and struggle to stop the run even when they know the other team is going to run. Getting to the 3 seed potentially gives them another shot at TN (assuming both win).
