He's a decent backup NFL safety. He is to safety what guys like Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson are to corner. He can start but you'd rather they not for an entire season.

It wasnt the pick it was the money. Because the Raiders wouldnt eat any of the contract the Jets will have to pay Adams over 10 million dollars for the remainder of the year. The Bills only have $4 million in cap. They literally couldnt make that trade.

I think Amari Cooper is a no brainer at this point. If DK Metcalf is really available, which I dont think he is, the Bills should throw multiple picks at the Seahawks. Cooper and Metcalf together would cost 10 million less than what the Jets are paying Adams for the remainder of the year.

The only available kicker who is any better than Bass has been over the last two years is Randy Bullock. He is close to 35 years old. They arent releasing Bass because they know if they bring in Riley Patterson or Brandon McManus they are essentially paying Bass 2,340,000 dollars to stay home, then they have to pay the guy they bring in over 500,000 for the rest of the year. With only 4,000,000 in cap space they likely dont want to spend close to 3 million of it on replacing a kicker when the replacement will be a sum zero. It should have been taken care of in the offseason. Beane usually fails fast and makes up for the mistake, he didnt in this instance and they are paying for it dearly.

I've always been pro McDermott. He's a good football coach. I am not sure if it's the young coordinators but there have been way too many coaching mistakes this year.
