  1. Wow! I would have loved to have you as a teacher. There is no way our defense was an A with those 3 games from hell and our too-often porous run defense. If the same defense as yesterday showed up every week, I would certainly agree. I think a B or B- overall would be more realistic, and with an asterisk indicating dramatic improvement overall. And yes, I was entertained...except for 3 weeks.
  2. I didn't know about the Cancer but he did leave the group quite a few years ago. The Moodys' sound was never quite the same withou Mike Pinder and I am sure that is true with the absence of Ray Thomas. Very sad loss. They deserved to have have gone into the HOF many years ago while he was still alive.
  3. What incredibly ironic timing. 3 months before being inducted into the R and R HOF, Ray Thomas has passed away. He played the flute and sang Timothy Leary’s Dead. RIP, Ray.
  4. My most sincere condolences, Augie. This has to be heart wrenching. My wife and I were up in New Hampshire this past May and there were billboards proclaiming the disastrous impact of opioid addiction there in that pristine state. It seemed so out of place there but spoke loud and clear about the pervasiveness of this cancer in our nation.
  5. I agree about Rudolph. He looks like a guy loaded with talent and determination and would be a perfect fit in Sean’s system.
  6. The toll on Americans like Augie and his family is staggering. It will take more will from all of us to get this to a higher priority!on the national agenda.
  7. Terrible loss. Heartbreaking. Opioid addiction is a true national emergency and needs to be treated as such.
  8. Not sure whether or not this is sacrilegious but I appreciate the concept.
  9. That would be one head-scratchingmove since they already had a potentially elite QB groomed and ready on the sidelines.
  10. My first father in law was a Polish POW and was in Auschwitz and later Dachau. He still had the POW # tattooed on his forearm and hardly mentioned his experiences to his family. He opened up to me, being in the Army, and his story was heart wrenching. He made boots for the SS from the leather of the shoes from the Jews (and others). I have visited Dachau twice and it is sobering and sickening. Never again.
  11. Way too early to speculate but the answer is obviously yes on any given Sunday.
  12. I didn't know that. Thanks. I saw Deep Purple in Buffalo early on and was amazed by Gillan's voice and thought it sounded very familiar, especially with that incredible falsetto in Child in Time. I looked at the credits for JC Superstar, and there he wasnamed in the lead role. I have heard a number of renditions of Gethsemanie and none match the sheer pain and intensity of Gillan's.
  13. I think it will all come down to who OBD covets the most and how much they are willing to pay. I am not convinced that Darnold or Rosen are that much better than Mayfield or Rudolph. Allen remains a question mark with grades all over the board, but with a very high ceiling. I made reservations to go to Dallas for the draft...it should be VERY INTERESTING.
  14. May I suggest a new user name? BAD PENNY CHAD.
  15. It really feels like it's time for this thread to end. The entertainment value has moved into the negative column.

  17. Terrific. I haven’T had the tv on. Maybe it will make the evening news when people are home from work.
