Crazy... The GM finally has a good draft and now he is gone...

Question guys.. Do you think we nailed this draft because of our Long Gone GM> or cause of McDermott?

There is no such thing is tanking for players.. they play to win.. If we had traded Darius, McCoy, Watkins... there replacements are going to work just as hard I don't like the term tanking

I think you 2 don't have all the facts So I will enlighten you.. #1 Facts in the case show that rear passenger admitted to shoving the drugs and guns under the driver Side seat #2 Both football players were drug tested and clean. #3 In the article in the same paragraph it says.. "When approaching the vehicle, officers spotted a handgun on the lap of the passenger. A bag of marijuana was also observed on the driver's side floorboard. The stolen handgun was located under Robinson's seat." IF the police officer actually saw the handgun on lap of passenger then game over.. the gun is in possession of passenger not the driver Cam Robinson. the guilt was by association and nothing more.. all charges were dropped. Some times in life stuff happens when were not in fault. I think this was the case.

ok those fans are dumb.. #1 I don't think Mahomes is going to amount to anything #2 they giving up there future #1 witch most teams wont do.. #3 they don't get that we did this to put ourselves in a position to get a better QB then they could of possibly gotten this year.. The top 4 QB next year will be better then the top 3 this year hands down and WHEN we have our franchise QB and there QB fails then we see how much they will be looking back at this trade when there GM is gone.

I think there is a decent gap in talent between the 2. And I think that's fair to say... But Cam Robinson is round 1 talent yes?

So Tackle Cam Robinson is available at round 2. Should we move to get him or take BPA at 44? Getting a CB and Tackle fills our needs at those positions and get WR in the third. Thoughts?

I think this was a solid decision to get a first going into next year.

So my first thought was... Uhg... Loose Gilmore and pick up another CB.. Typical Dumb GM Sense. Then I started thinking... This is a Solid CB with Return abilities and has a high ceiling. It fills a need in a draft where we go need not BPA. A captain with 4 years experience witch is rare now a days and he is smart. He looks small but 5'11" isn't that bad. On top of it all we didn't reach for a QB in a bad QB class and got an extra first round pick next year in an excellent QB class. In Hindsight should of we gotten Cam Robinson at Tackle or picked a QB out of this draft? Time will tell.. but lets face facts... Many of us wanted us to trade and we did.. We filled a need. I still think we should trade our Second round pick down to 15-20 in second round and pick up a fourth round pick. This is roster building year via draft.. Next year is the year of the QB's... I am slowly getting excited about this.

This is a good Group, I really Like James Connor out of that group being the best of bunch.

I think the key questions is do we bother? Is there a QB that will be available to us at any round that you want? My answer is no. We have a QB in Taylor.. Lets see what the kid can do under new coaching, different offensive unit, get him his WR on the first pick and see what we have in him. In the First Round I think There will be our Pick in WR In the Second Round I think it has to be Safety/CB Normally Drafting is BPA but I don't think it is this year cause we have to many positions of need. Any how this is my First post to these forums and would like to hear some thoughts on it before I start Posting Mock Draft among other things.
