This isn't a coach issue this is a player issue.. this is an offensive line issue. defense cant win you games EVERY GAME!

We were predicting games during the glory days to so.. yea. Playing hard doesn't mean it turns into playoffs but on the bright side I also have changed for the better. I think every game is winnable with this defense but I am also a realist. great post and totally agree.

After we play the Jets witch is a must win game for us.. we need 6-2 and I will tell you why. If you look at the remaining schedule after the Jets this is how I predict the season to look. I hope we end 10-6 and I am rooting for us to win every game obvious. Jets---------W Saints------L Chargers--L Chiefs------L Patriots----L Colts-------W Miami------W Patriots----L Miami------W So I think after the Jets we go on a scary loosing streak. I know Saints game is a 50/50 game but I think they match up a little bit better. My thoughts are if we split a game with Patriots or have a great game against Saints, Chargers or Chiefs that we are looking ok for a wild card game. This conference is super tight and feel 9-7 gets it done. Its a long season still folks.. how do you predict this will end up? Thoughts?

Great post. To me the biggest one is Fitz playing above his level of play, last minute victories that made you pinch yourself and ask "is this team for real". I have not gotten that feeling this year. I feel lots of the fumbles and INT's have been due to people being placed at right place right time and good preparation. Last game for example.. usually we are the undisciplined team that fumbles the ball in wet weather and that just was not the case. I truly believe in system play over scattered talented team. We got rid of key players at key positions because we wanted players to fit this system. In many cases on this team, the talent drop off to the backups are not that bad. What our coach did is turn this team into a battle tested hungry college like team and I believe in it, the system. After Thursday night we are 6-2 and just 4 wins from the playoffs. 3 wins away from wild card. Its just a different feel and I am LIKING IT!

That would mean every bye we would have to play against one of the other teams that just had a bye to... scheduling nightmare.

This might be the worst post of the week.

9-7 if we are lucky. I don't like the matchups between Raiders, Saints, KC and Pats. Just a gut feeling. 9-7 gets us a wild card and breaks the curse. Bucs W Raiders L Jets W Saints L Chargers W Kc L Pats L Colts W Dolphins W Pats L Dolphins W

Also I would like to add that you guys have done a great job with these forums and would expect nothing less with new software

Yes it will change and I will tell you why. 1. Because to me this is a team we should beat. 2. Because if we loose we just fall back to doing the same thing we have been doing last many years. 8-8 7-9 is the usual. 3. Because for me I think we can beat them.. I don't think they are as good as who we have already won against For those reasons.. yes my opinion will change.

Any time you make a massive change like this its going to upset about 5-10% of the population, Keeping that in mind that isn't much unless you have the kind of numbers these forums produce.. then your talking about a lot of people. I would suggest putting up a 2 week pole that doesn't show the names of who voted and block all the replies so people can think for themselves and not take on a vibe of what everyone else is doing. Also I would not make that change unless its a higher% like 80%+. All this wanting to change because of us having bad years of game play is silly.. I suggest to all members to vote for how this effects you and not on some myth or voodoo magic that the team gets better after a change.. On a personal note, as someone newer I don't care either way... Just keep it pro either way.

So I agree but here is the thing? Why stop there? Why not Dumb Tyrod for a 4th? Why not dump Shady for a 3rd? Why not "Clean up on isle one" get all the draft picks for next year and move on to a "new era"
