  1. Did the Patriots really get better? Judon.... is good. Kyle Van Noy is good... Judon was on a better defense last year and we beat that team. Nelson Algohor does NOTHING for me and neither does Bourne. Their 2 TE's...... wellp, they both combined for 1046 last year (or something similar). Their QB is still Cam Newton that threw for 5 TD's last year. If you're using Will Fuller to say the Dolphins got better... We signed Sanders and have Diggs...... and Josh Allen. I'm not sure Will Fuller equates to the Dolphins having a better off-season than the Bills. Finally, are you sure we got worse? Nothing that we've seen in 3 years under McDermott leads me to believe we've gotten worse. Phillips, Oliver, Johnson, Ford, AJ etc. can all take massive leaps this year and that would mean we got exponentially better.
  2. Daniel Jones is grossly underrated. He's a good QB and it'll show this year when he has receivers that can catch the ball
  3. And the fumble against the Colts, that they reviewed and still got it wrong. But this video is great. Thankfully Kurt Warner is coming around on JA because I've always respected his analysis.
  4. Which....... is literally special teams. That's....... important. That's not too much being made... that's literally 1/3 of the game lol
  5. I'm a big proponent of keeping Morse (much more than most) but I would get rid of him and pay Hudson +2-3 mill over Morse. I think Hudson would help our running game greatly and be very little drop off, if any, in pass pro.
  6. Except they also have Hardman, Mahomes, and Hill. Does the combo of Kendrick Bourne, Nelson Algohor, and 37 year old Edelman make you nervous? Or Cam at QB? I mean, people are actually panicking because they signed 2 TE's that combined JUST north of 1,000 yards last year?
  7. This might be the worst take i've seen here in a while. I've not once seen anyone mention his dreads. Is he great? no. Is he "lousy"? Also no.
  8. I wish he was just cut.
  9. Glad you're in the know.
  10. Uhhh, i'm not a GM and I don't have specifics. Tell me why Dak just got more money than Aaron Rodgers, Watson, Wilson, etc? You can't. It's a market. As the salary cap goes up, so do QB numbers. "Tell me how much" like I know an exact number hahaha How about this: You tell me how much Josh's contract is going to be. Insane and asinine to assume you can.
  11. I don't think I have to "trust you" to know it's a good problem to have a QB that won a SB/MVP. I think you're under estimating how much that would blow his price up.
  12. They lose a lot more money if Josh goes out and wins an MVP/ SB.
  13. Yupp. That's what i'm saying... given the circumstances, i dont think he played that bad.... at all. I really think Casey makes a lot of sense.
  14. Star comes back.. which will help. I'd love to us make a run at Jurrell Casey. This would allow us to use Oliver and Phillips in that 3T role. I think Phillips will grow into a nice 1T eventually as well. I want to see Oliver in the position we drafted him to be to truly assess his performance. I, for one, don't think he was as bad at 1T as many think he was for being a 285lb 1T
  15. I think move on. This year specifically, those 2-3 million dollars a year are huge.
  16. 100%. I would not pay him 10-12. I'd gladly GLADLY pay 8.5. I think the bolded is interesting. I'll go look back at his time in Carolina. I can't remember for sure how he was there.
  17. Yupp and allowed us to move Ford to guard. Williams did struggle at times run blocking. To play devil's advocate here a little, with Josh Allen as your QB, wouldn't we want to keep a RT (if we can get a good salary comp) that can pass block with room to improve for run blocking as opposed to the opposite?
  18. He's going to be in the 10-12m per year range, probably... pass.
  19. I agree. I'd take Casey. I want to get younger but we've been putrid against the run in recent years and he'd be a great addition. I'd welcome him at a 2 year 10-12 mill contract, let Butler and Jefferson go. I think with Casey and Star.... Oliver and Phillips' game would elevate.
  20. That's incredibly wishful thinking. I could see "hometown deal" in the 30-35 range. That would still be cheap for him at this point... saving us ~3-5 mill off Watson. Allen has quite a bit of wiggle room in getting a higher contract than him.
  21. No one said that. It's in a discussion for the off-season. No one said "gotta be signed immediately" It's a discussion of when you do it. This off-season or wait? Did you even read the article?
  22. Yeah, and they got rid of him immediately.
  23. If he wins the MVP/ SB, his price tag will absolutely go up.
