  1. Metcalf aint gonna last till the second round (and I dont want to take him at 9). I dont think AJ Brown will last to the second as well. Marquise Brown / N'Keal Harry / Deebo Samuel / Ridley will likely be there at #40 (and I rank them in that order but #40 may be too high for all of them). I give Paris Campbell a 3rd round grade. It is possible I am underrating Campbell but purely speedy guys like John Ross (and to an extent, Marquise Goodwin) have not really flourished in the NFL. It is also possible Campbell had fewer targets at tOSU since the QB also had Mclaurin on the other side. Unless we trade our first down and get an extra second, my pipe dream (with #40) is Jeffrey Simmons - with us maybe moving up to #33 to get him).
  2. Looks reasonable except I think the Cle and 2nd jets game are winnable while the Pitt and Bal games may be toughies
  3. Those numbers for Boyle make Clay's contract look so bad. Whaley really screwed us there.
  4. Cant wait for that to happen. Paradis + Williams + 1 OL in the first 3 rounds of the draft and we are sitting pretty.
  5. To clarify, from post#2 in the thread, it appears he is projected to go in the first two rounds of the draft. Last thing we need in the first two rounds is a CB. I would be interested in a CB only round 4 or beyond. Edit: My bad. I mistook him for a rookie. The John Butler connection. Sign him up quickly.
  6. Wonder why the Browns did not try to rework his deal. While clearly overpaid, he was quite solid last year. I would not mind pairing him with Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano so long as he costs 4 mill or less per year. He is great in coverage but a little hit and miss in run defense.
  7. That is why the tweet about a one year deal w/ Broncos did not make any sense. The fit with the Bills is just too good and the need too great for the Bills not to offer him a decent deal.
  8. Yay! Signing a Center is priority #1! And given the lack of depth in the draft and 2019 FA, hope it will be Paradis or Morse at about 10.5 mill per year.
  9. He is projected too high for my liking. Want OL, WR and one DL in the first 3 rounds. Will he be available later? Edit: My bad. I mistook him for a rookie.
  10. he is good at blocking but c'mon 3 catches from Brady in 13 games? me no likey. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwayne_Allen#Career_statistics At best, he is backup material and, if he is the only FA TE we get, we better be drafting Fant or TJH.
  11. Well we need both. Draft has some good tackles while being short on centers. But without a doubt you are correct that we are sorely in need of an upgrade at RT.
  12. No-brainer to go after D. Williams if the medicals check out. Am a bit concerned about the Bills' medical evaluations after Jordan Matthews and KB 13 injuries.
  13. fixed it for ya. MOST IMPORTANT move is to find a Center!
  14. At this point the only three "surfire" top 10 talents IMO are Quinnen Williams, Josh Allen and Nick Bosa. To me, it is still a crapshoot after that. If one of these Is available, just take em. Else try to trade down. This is not to say guys like Oliver are bad. Just that there are questions about each of them that bring em down a notch from those three at this point in time.
  15. Thanks. I think these may be the comments you are referencing: https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2019/03/for-bills-gm-brandon-beane-exploring-possible-trades-is-a-delicate-deliberate-process.html I just read them twice but I cant get a firm read on whether the Bills are interested or not. To me, overall, it appears Bills are considering / have considered what adding him would do.
  16. I like Burns a lot - just not in the top 10. Maybe after a trade down.
  17. Had to happen - no way the Texans were going to give him Von Miller money and no way were they going to let him walk for nothing.
  18. Yes, Ryan Clark - the one player who had a fight with Antonio Brown and was let go by the Steelers several years ago. Several current teammates spoke up against Bell sitting out - but not even one current teammate has come out in support of Ben and Tomlin and against Brown. What were these comments? I must have missed them.
  19. No he did not. That is Tomlin's narrative. He left practice after being humiliated by Roethlisberger. When he wanted to come back, Tomlin did not allow him to and spun it as "he quit on his team". At least, that is the AB narrative.
  20. Y'all just shitting on the guy for no big reason. Has any teammate called him out yet? Not to my knowledge. Doesn't that say sthing about him as a teammate? The guy was treated badly by his QB and his coach. He wants out. The smart strategy (from his POV) is to make it difficult to trade him so that the Steelers release him and he can determine his own destiny. He doesn't want other teams to make a fair offer to the Steelers. Why become a Carmelo Anthony and undermine the team he wishes to join by having them pay an arm and a leg? From all accounts he is hardworking and helps people around him get better (like Juju). The only 2 knocks on him have been a. He was late to some meetings and b. He filmed a locker room talk. If he was as bad as y'all make him out to be, wouldn't he have been released ages ago? Most star players have way more indiscretions.
  21. So why aren’t the Jets / Browns under the threshold? They have more cap space. Were they capped out earlier?
  22. https://www.ninersnation.com/2019/2/28/18244816/antonio-brown-trade-rumors-49ers-john-lynch-kye-shanahan Does the niners lack on interest mean our chances just got better?
  23. If it didn't work with Cam why shd it work with Allen? once bitten (by KB13) twice shy.
