Interesting comparison Gabe Davis & Hopkins

If that’s the percentage for the stats your have in brackets you might want to check your math….. Nevermind I see what ya did -
Interesting comparison Gabe Davis & Hopkins

The excuses for Gabe gotta stop. He had a poor catch percentage when he was the 4/3 WR. It’s just the big plays were heightened and the poor plays not as noticeable because we relied on him less. He is who he is at this point. -

Can’t blame depth of route on his drop rate. Doesn’t matter if it’s 5 yards downfield or 70, if the ball hits you in the numbers you gotta catch it. -

I never said anything about the Pats. We just need more consistency after Allen and Diggs. They don’t need huge numbers, just be reliable when called upon. Like Beasley -

It’s not that they have little talent, it’s that outside Diggs and Allen they are very inconsistent. -

Reminds me of last year when everyone thought KC, Denver, LA and Vegas would be a powerhouse division -

Look them up, prove me wrong. I’m not wasting my time searching for stats to prove to you 44% ain’t good. -

He got 1. So he was 12 of 27 on third down. Not much of difference but still proves he’s very unreliable Six of his targets went to defenders, some of which looked like miscommunications. We rarely see Allen and Diggs have these miscues but we do with Davis and Allen. 🤔 -

Because on third and forth down he was targeted 28 times and caught 12 passes. That’s 43% catch rate when we need a play to keep a drive moving. Thats terrible. That’s much below his average that was bad to begin with. -

Brown was the #1 at the time and Hardy will likely be #4 or 5…. Goodluck with that I see him more of a gadget player like McKenzie was before Beas left. I wouldn’t be surprised if Shakir makes a bigger impact then both hardy and Sherfield. -

McKenzie might have had the better QB but Sherfield had two of the fastest guys in football soaking up all the attention from opposing defences. Seems like wash to me. -

And last year heading into the season we would have taken McKenzie over all of them. Difference is McKenzie finally got his shot and failed and the others are looking for that opportunity. No one knows if it’s an upgrade or not yet. -

Because he wants to win. If it’s not going where he thinks the team needs help maybe he got the balls to say ***** you! We have no clue what what said during the restructure, but considering the way he left after the playoff loss I doubt he went in there and signed without asking questions. -

Then McD will sit that guy on the bench and give us the play book is complicated crap like he did with Hines. 😂 -

I like that Diggs is pissed off about this. Despite what some of the highly positive posters believe, we have no idea if we grabbed anybody that will make an impact this season. -
What the Bills need to do to take the next step
BananaB replied to HaldimandBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
We’ll see what happens when he gets on the field. There was alot of hype in Cook last year and how he’d be used in this offense and how’d that turn out. What did you think I was talking about when I said spending too much money on depth. They sign average players that have shown little and hope they make a big impact when they get to our team. That’s really not trying to land big impact players, it’s hoping you get lucky and save a couple bucks -

I think you also gotta question development. Early in MCDs tenure a lot of young guys seen the field and played really well for us. Lately, not so much. Maybe it’s not getting on the field, hard to get to top level on practice alone. McD is the guy who started Peterman over Allen on opening week so there is that. Kind of crazy just thinking about that now 😂. -

You don’t think we wasted money on dline over the years? How about all the guys that have shown flashes on oline we have brought in over the years that never made any impact? Miller was the first big contract they doubled down on. They took a chance on Allen’s contract early and it paid off. Did the same for Knox and drafted a TE next April. Who knows what will happen to Oliver. Look at what we did at WR this off-season, not really the upgrade we are looking for. Bills go to the flea market and are scared to put all their money on quality, instead ration it out on quantity. -

Is it possible to spend too much money on depth and not enough on impact players -
Seems to me McD is right on pace to win a Super Bowl in the same amount of time Cowher did.

Is this year make or break for McDermott?
BananaB replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
It should be. I’m glad Leslie is gone because now there really isn’t any excuses for ***** D game plans in our biggest games. -

Diggs wasn’t a chance, it was going to get a proven player.
