Dude look at your post, the top two rounds are in a decline.
-
While trying to prove one point you ignored another point. Seems like over the past few years the players are getting less time. Which is what most are saying. The players that started more early in McDs tenure had to start because they were basically rebuilding. We got alot out of those guys, they are the backbone of the team right now. Which proves getting them on the field helps their progression Lately guys are not getting on the field as much and there is alot of frustration with why we picked these guys because they ain’t helping the team. Especially with the high picks
-
Maybe that’s the problem and a reason why we can’t get over the hump with McD. If a guy is slightly better but the other player shows more overall potential it’s more beneficial for the team to get that younger player to full potential at a faster pace.
-
The secondary was middle of the pack and our rush D was top 5. Fact is Dane was the whipping boy for mediocre QBs on third and long the second half of the season. It was tough to watch.
-
Do we have 3 good corners or 3bad ones? Dane sucked last year and he seems to be the leader of the pack.
-
Do all have the ability though? Dane was terrible last year and he seems to be the leading guy. That’s the problem, that’s why some of us are very frustrated. Maybe McD is too worried about Xs and Os and the playbook then just putting the best talent on the field and letting him develop. He’s done it in the past with a few guys.
-
We’re slowing down his learning process for average play ahead of him. Put the guy on the field that has the potential to help you more in January. Dane is who he is at this point, if Elam doesn’t improve once he starts getting the bulk of the reps you always got Dane to step back in.
-
I wouldn’t be worried about them trading him, more worried about him just sitting on the roster behind average play and not developing at a fast enough speed for him to help this team. Put him in, he either figures it out or we know we made a mistake. Practice does no show the true story, that’s why McDermott looked like a moron starting Peterman twice.

Seems pretty light for stomping someone’s face in because you didn’t want them on the same elevator.

Josh Allen goes #1 overall to the Browns in a 2018 Redraft

Geez would have been nice to still have that Wyatt Teller fella. I remember Beane being labeled a genius for trading a guy he was gonna cut. 😂 -
They should really look at some of his big catches. Had a few wow ones last year. And all the simple catches he produced some much needed yac, which Bills haven’t had much of the past few seasons
-
Must not be third and long
-
Would it be better Allen take a sack instead of trying to get the ball to someone if Diggs is doubled? Davis was definitely gonna be the guy that benefits the most in during those situations.
-
Josh didn’t trust anyone besides Diggs by December. Ain’t that why they brought in Beas and Smoke.
-
I think Shakir got the edge on making the team on any WR besides Diggs and Davis. Probably Harty as well because he looks like the gadget guy. The other players we brought in are rookies or vets who bounced around the league, unless one really steps up and are destined to make a huge impact. I don’t have much faith in Sherfield or Izabella doing that
-
He’s the one guy. No one knows where Torrence will be early September
-
We basically added one guy to our oline, other than that it’s just depth. Maybe Torrence will pan out but having a rookie next to Brown is very scary. All the depth players we sign don’t do anything to help the starting lineup, and that what we need.

Training Camp 7/31 9:45 AM - Full pads this week

Kid had a really good camp for a rookie last year and maybe an even better preseason. That has a lot to do with the hype he got last year. We have seen very little of him to make any accurate assessment on him based on last year. He probably should have taken over that slot roll last year but McD has trouble sitting vets who play poorly. He did some good things in very minor roll. -

Last year during TC all anyone talked about was how good Shakir hands are. I think he’s gonna settle in that slot role nicely. Last year he was just getting his feet wet and he’s had a slow start to camp. It’ll get better. -

How’s Kincaid today? -
Was it any different then the Embedded episode hyping him up last season?
-
Better than December I guess.
-
Seems like Beane is throwing darts blindfolded hoping to get another WR Allen can rely on. Gabes not that guy but he is easily the best WR we have after Diggs.
-
Our D got crushed every playoff exit we had the past 3 years. How do you win Championships that way?
-
White started because we traded Darby and let Gilmore walk. We were in a rebuild and he had time to learn. Wallace was pressed into action and did pretty well considering. Still the team had time to let him play and learn because we were in a transition building this team. Same can be said for a lot of players. Allen, Edmunds, Dawkins, Johnson. These guys all learned on the field because roster was thin and they had time to develop them that way. We even leaned on Robert Foster at one point. Even Knox, he was brought in later but no one really here to keep him on the bench so he had to learn. Rosters changed as years went on and brings more competition. The more we hear McD give the playbook excuse to use average vets and not his rookies. Ed had a slow learning process, in and out of the lineup. Aj and Boogie hardly ever see the field but we haven’t seen anybody really standout above them. Just average play. We seen this with other positions as well, RB, WR come to mind last year. This process is not getting our most talented players ready for the biggest stage, playoffs. Might be why our D gets crushed every year we face a solid QB. Elam might have been our best DB in playoffs, not sure we get by Miami without him on the field. Sad thing is if he seen the field more during regular season he might have been even better. But McD stuck with Dane despite him getting toasted every week. He also stuck with McKenzie despite his ***** play and kept Shakir on the bench. H
