I got no problem with the draft picks going to D as long as they ain’t on the 3 or 4 year development plan to get them to their best ability like all the rest of our draft picks. Surtan is an already proven player though. McDs development of players is a big negative to this team. Something is not working in practice. We draft all these young players on D, then go out and sign vets at the same position.

Does it matter? Bills make a trade and the guy will sit on the bench for 3 months learning the playbook.

Definitely something up. Elams confidence probably shot at this point. He’s got no trade value. Coaches have zero confidence in him so his chance here to succeed will probably never happen.

But he played better last year so to say he can’t after one game this season is crazy. Kid had a hard task and coaching really didn’t help. I myself think McD don’t like him and is trying to make a point to bring in one of his guys. Why not Dane on Ridley? Why not switch during the game when Lawrence and Ridley started picking on him and you could see him struggle…. To be honest Dane was picked on until Zay went down, so if he was lined up against Ridley like that he’d probably be toast too.

McD got rid of Darby immediately when he got here.

I have no problem seeing guys go and succeed on other teams, good for them. Its frustrating when it’s turns out to be a position of need for us though

I just keep scratching my head why Jackson wasn’t on Ridley. No excuses for Elams play but this coaching staff obviously has more trust in Jackson, why did he get the easier assignment.

Bills have a tough schedule late in the season, with the injuries on D the O is gonna have to be damn near perfect down the stretch. I guess it’s a good thing we didn’t cheap out O again and signed Harty and Sherfield. 😂

No pass at all. Since Josh was drafted the defense has always been put ahead of the O. Countless picks who are slow to develop and numerous FA signings to play ahead of them. Don’t care about injuries, just get the job done. Sunday I seen the same defense that struggled to get off the field and gave up long sustaining drives late last season. Just getting old.

That’s because they couldn’t get off the field all day long. O had their struggles as well but it was all around ***** play on both sides of the ball. D gave up 300 yards in the air and 185 on the ground.

Why wasn’t Dane moved to Ridley. He’s the guy who has been activated, they obviously think he’s the better player. Just a head scratcher.
